Established in 2013 by Mohan Lakhamraju and Hari Nair, Great Learning has its main headquarters in Gurgaon. It is an ed-tech company that offers eighteen programmes through its five departments, including Data Science & Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security & Software Development and Management. The institute offers PG, advanced certificate and certificate programmes such as PG Programme in Business Analytics (PGP-BABI), MTech in Data Science and Machine Learning, Master’s in Data Science and Machine Learning, Certificate programme in Business Analytics, etc.
PGP-BABI was ranked 1st among all the Business Analytics programmes in India by Analytics India Magazine. It has collaborated with McCombs School of Business, Texas to launch its flagship programme i.e. PGP-BABI, internationally. The institute has educated over 5,000 students with facilities in six metropolitan cities, namely Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurugram, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Based in India, Great Learning has expanded to other parts of Asia and the Middle East.
