Good place for study but not that good for other extra curricular activities.
Placements: 100 percent students got placed. As after pursuing MBBS, you get job for sure. Everyone gets a job. After completing the course, you will be doctors and will be practicing medicine in any part of the country, wherever you would like to. College is supportive in studies.
Infrastructure: There is AC libraries lecture halls are quite big to accommodate 150 students. Hostel is the best part as rooms are big and clean with attached washroom facilities. Mess is good comparatively. Sports and other activities are not so good. You will enjoy your hostel life more than your college life.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but they are strict here. Course is very well practiced and we get chance to practice with doctors. Semester exams are not that tough and all the students pass it. Teachers will ACT strict but they will help you if you need them.
Other: I wanted to become a doctor since childhood. MBBS guarantees you a good platform for ahead life so quite satisfied with my choice. Course is good but hectic. Fests do take place here and we participate and enjoy a lot.

It is a good college which has good faculty members, infrastructure, and academics.
Infrastructure: The college has a very huge library occupying a minimum of 250 students. The classrooms are not air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is installed but students are prohibited to use it.
Faculty: MCI's new curriculum was implemented in our college from the 2019 batch onwards. Faculty members of our college are knowledgeable. The biochemistry department is poor but overall good.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a doctor from my childhood. The college fee is Rs.67000 for a year. Our batch strength was around 150 which are divided into four batches A, B, C, D. As of now, only MBBS is offered in our college. But I request to conduct PG MD and MS courses which were submitted in 2020 and MCI also gave the green signal. But I don't know for which year the PG courses are starting. Every major festival of India is celebrated with sports tournaments along with academics. I am very proud to be a student of Gims Gulbarga. The college also schedules international sports, quiz, conferences, and many more.

It is a good and reputed government college.
Placements: A total of 150 students get admission in the first year. All the students get an internship in the college after passing the final year exams with a stipend only in government colleges. Many of us even get selected to do masters in good colleges afterward. The top course offered in our college is MBBS.
Infrastructure: It has separate labs for every subject to learn. It has a library, which is quite advanced compared to what other colleges offer. We even have a hostel which is newly built and is just perfect for us. It has students mess, so there is no problem with the taste of food served to the students. It has a good sports ground for which the college funds the equipment.
Faculty: All teachers are masters. They have many years of experience in the field of teaching as well as in the hospital. The course curriculum is planned in such a way that even if we want to miss something, we can't and have to read everything, which is quite impressive. Exams are conducted by the university, for which the evaluators come from different colleges and conduct the exams. Exams are a little difficult, but many of us manage to pass.
Other: I have chosen this field to become a good doctor, understand the normal functioning of the body and treat the patients. The best thing about being a doctor is that you will get recognised by your profession and earn a lot of respect. I do not think there is much to improve on our campus, but it is always better to have many things.

A perfect college to become good doctors .
Placements: All the students who Pass out from our college are merit students and get 100% placements in any of the government hospital across Karnataka. Basically GIMS is a pure Government college and all the students entering this college are good students with Good rankings in Entrance exam.
Infrastructure: 7 floor college building with separate boys hostel, girls hostel, group c and d quarters and a quarters for teaching staff with all facilities. Central library with digital connections. Got a digital library and an Exam Hall is present with CCTV coverage.
Faculty: All the lecturers are highly qualified. They are always ready to help us at any moment. Practically oriented teaching with standard pattern of testing which gives us a competitive environment in college. Clinically oriented curriculum is followed well.

My overall experience in this college.
Placements: Studying MBBS in this college is really a good thing. We get to learn many practical things lively. Internship is provided only during the final year. A stipend of 20000 will be provided during internship. Many students got selected for NEET PG as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is okaish. Buildings are a bit holder. But this college has good equipments and facilities. Labs are filled with good amenities. Canteen food is not good here. Sports and games are also available and we have inter college competitions as well.
Faculty: This college has good faculty. They encourage all of us to participate in extra curricular activities also. They provide notes and ppts after every session. They teach us all the practical things very clearly. Exams are little bit tough to pass here.

Placements: About 150 students get internships every year. About 150 new students take admission to PG every year. Admissions are provided on the basis of the cutoff declared by this institution. It is the best college for MBBS.
Infrastructure: There are hospitals for training purposes. The hospital contains 750 beds. It has a regional diagnostic center, laboratories, a blood bank, an x-ray department, and an AYUSH center.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are very friendly. They will teach in a simple manner so that students can easily understand the topics.
Other: It is my aim to become a doctor. The best thing about this course is that it saves people's health.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: College has a good number of placements. The salary package is Rs.50,000 to 1 LPM.
Infrastructure: College, hospital, and hostel buildings are nice and new. Campus is clean and hygienic. Wi-Fi is not provided. Labs, classrooms, and library are well-equipped. Food is hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the real world but it can be improved. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 50%. College doesn't prepare us for post-graduation exam NEET-PG.
Other: There is a lack of creative learning as it doesn't focus on extra curricular activities.

The campus is huge with every facility required, and the faculty are good.
Placements: I was offered a designation as medical science and surgery head. The teachers helped me a lot in every manner. 78% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was 40-50 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Good quality food is provided. The mess was amazing. The labs were very good. Every sport was allowed, and students used to enjoy every game. The library had many books, and we don't need to buy from anywhere else. Hostel rings are quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and take care of the interest of everyone. They clear all the topics. There are also some extracurricular activities once or twice a year.
Other: Many well-known people visited our college to inspire students.
