Gurudas College has a good location. Very good practical sessions are provided.
Placements: The course of Microbiology here, doesn't offer for direct opening to industry. However, they have good alumni who have been offered M.Sc. Courses in good and reputable institutions. The other departments have placement cell. However, we don't directly get into industries.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classrooms. There is limited space in the department. However, they have standard infrastructure and equipments required for undergraduate level in Microbiology. There is as such no hostel. The library is nice and has a good ambience.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are really helpful and guide very vell throughout the practical sessions. The curriculum is fine and it's according to University of Calcutta. The paper standard is same as that of all other colleges affiliated under Calcutta University.

Good college for microbiology
Placements: The class size is 50. The fees for admission to the first year of the academic session 2021-2022 is Rs 22810. There is no direct placements but students can get chances in reputed industry after completion of the course. The practical and theoretical knowledge helps students get chance in microbiology labs.
Infrastructure: Well furnished laboratory with experienced technician and professors to assists students. Library have approximately 40,000 books, CD/DVD, journal, news papers. Library is well maintained by librarians and provide an excellent and peaceful atmosphere to study.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful, holding phd degree. Projectors are used for teaching purpose. Seminars do take place to enhance student's knowledge and boost self confidence. Sometimes excursion and industrial visit takes place to encourage practical knowledge.
