M.Voc. in Cosmetology and Wellness - Batch of 2025

M.Voc. cosmetology course admission, 2026.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students found employment. The lowest package is about 2.5 LPA, the highest is about 6 LPA, and the average is about 4 LPA. Cosmetic brands, wellness chains, and beauty salons are among the recruiters. Salon and skincare companies offered internships. However, there aren't many worldwide opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a library with cosmetology resources, and contemporary skincare and haircare equipment are all features of the labs. The hostel is fine, but there isn't much variety in the food. There are sports and medical facilities, but the upkeep of the hostel needs to be improved.
Faculty: With practical training, teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Although some areas lack current global trends, the curriculum is practical and focuses on beauty Science and industry needs. With a pass rate of about 90%, the exams are moderate and primarily practical in nature.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements of the college are average. All the placements of individual courses are conducted like commerce, fashion designing, computer science, etc. The faculty who arrange the placement drive are supportive and commendably amazing encourage us to take part in drives and encourage us to get selected.
Infrastructure: The course is no doubt world-class and competitive to any international school. The hostel of my college is good. The hostel is clean. All the rooms are well-furnished. Hostels are the USP of my college. Freshers and farewells are organized in the hostel for the enjoyment of the boarders as well. The school even has internationally renowned visiting faculty who train us on the most recent research topics. Courses like environment, development economics, game theory, and industrial economics are some of the value-added subjects along with the specialization in econometrics give a competitive advantage to students.
Faculty: The course has become immensely competitive recently. But despite this, the experience is very enriching and satisfying, studying with the best faculty and with the brightest students. If one loves economics and has a penchant for logic, then DSE is the place to be. All the faculty of the college is good, experienced, and polite. There are seven lectures in my course taken by different teachers. Various outside teachers also take our classes to provide us with overall personality traits knowledge. All the faculty members are helpful and cooperative.

B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2020

Dissatisfied because of the old curriculum and no focus on teaching job skills.
Placements: I was in the B.Sc. Computer Science batch of 2020. In my course, only about 5% of students got placed. Companies like Deloitte and Cognizant visited our college for roles like Analyst. The highest package was around 3 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. Around 10% of students got internships in MNCs.
Infrastructure: The library infrastructure was good, but issuing books was a hassle. There were not enough of the required books available. Wi-Fi facility was available, although we were not allowed to use phones or anything. I felt that the college was not keeping up with the changing world. For example, in top colleges across India, students bring laptops and make notes, etc., but here, even phones were not allowed. Labs were good, though they could have been better. The medical facility was good, and the canteen was great. The food in the mess was not that good, but hostels were good, with room for improvement.
Faculty: Some teachers were really good, while others showed no interest in teaching. The curriculum was okay, but in my course, the Computer Science curriculum needed to be updated according to the changing requirements of the job market. The in-demand skills should have been taught practically. Can you believe we were only taught email, Word, and Excel and that too just the very basics, not any formulas instead of coding A B.Sc. CS graduate didn’t even know how to code Obviously, this didn't make students industry-ready at all. The semester exams were not that difficult, the level was good, and the pass percentage was around 90%.
Other: I wished they had focused on practical knowledge in courses like B.Sc. Computer Science, BCA, etc.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025

College - A place where we gain practical knowledge.
Placements: The final year students are offered jobs from various companies with a minimum package of 2 to 3 Lacs per annum. One of our seniors got a placement in Nescafe company with a salary of 12 Lacs per annum, holding a position of department head with 16 employees working under her.
Infrastructure: The college provides 4 different blocks of hostels depending on accommodation and other facilities. There are many indoor as well as outdoor activities for students such as swimming, gym, chess, badminton, and other activities as well. All the students, whether day scholars or hostellers, can take advantage of this.
Faculty: The level of exams varies from subject to subject and it varies from year to year. The pass percentage is 40%. The teachers are supportive and generous towards students and help in providing notes and important questions which can be revised during exams.
Other: The best thing I liked about this course is it helps in preparing for competitive exams as it is a combination of all the subjects which are helpful for the students who are willing to give banking exams.

Best college in Jalandhar for girls as it is not a Co-Ed college.
Placements: Many companies come to our college and select students and give them the best placements with the best salary packages but I never ever applied for any placements. Mostly, 40–50% of the students apply for the placements and get selected. The students will be selected on a merit basis and based on their performance.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure of our college is not up to par, but if you look at the fee structure of a college, then at that price, the college's first structure is not bad. All the quality of the food is very good, the canteen is very neat and clean and there are many sports and game facilities. All though our classes are not air conditioned, all the labs and libraries are fully air conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very qualified and knowledgeable and very cooperative with the students. They feel very comfortable with the teachers and the teachers taught each and everything very carefully and with clarity. Only their exams will happen on the semester system and only one exam in our semester is conducted by our university.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in IT sectors and there are many festivals and scholarship programs happening in our college. Neither college provides scholarship schools with students based on their previous class results; otherwise, scholarships should be given to the backward classes and the lower classes and for girls, a separate scholarship scheme started by our college.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Students got internships from our college in the apparel industry. Top roles are not offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are not Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has many labs. Our library is air-conditioned. Our classrooms are very hot during summer, and the fans do not work well. The food served in the canteen is very costly. Our canteen crowd is more.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable.
Other: I opted for this course because it is my dream to do a fashion designer job. Our course is the best. Our college should improve pattern making. There are around 10 students in our class. Our course fee is Rs. 60,000 per year. Our college has good value for money. Our college does not conduct sports activities.

The placement percentages of MGM College of Fine Art are roughly 60-70% and the highest pay is about Rs. 5-6 lakhs per annum. The college does placement with some companies to provide jobs but results can be upbeat or downbeat depending on the course and course options offered. On the other hand, Ha
