The college is good, but lags in providing placements.
Placements: If a student wants to get placed, I believe that he/she has to be talented and ambitious. This is just a degree college affiliated to Calcutta University. If anyone wants to get a proper job, he/she can either prepare for government exams or can go for the private sector as most of the graduate students from this college have done the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college is located beside the main road and bus stand of C-7 state bus. The campus has a small but good playground for students. A library is also available. Science students can enjoy a good practical life as the labs are very good. But, the only problem is, it is a little bit away from the main area of Kolkata.
Faculty: The college has good faculty members. The college offers courses like B.A, B.Sc, B.Com (Hons) and a general course in each stream. Teachers are very calm and helpful but a little strict, especially science teachers. But, the faculty in science department are very good, and I cannot say about the faculty in other streams. Non-teaching staff are not good except a few. Minority students were provided with central scholarship, and the college is helpful in this aspect.
Other: Every cultural program is held. Science students are sent for an excursion. Campus surroundings are good. A sports program is also initiated by the newly appointed principal, and the rest is good.

Placements: There are no facilities of placements. Hello my name is Shoaib Akhtar and I am from Kolkata I joined college in 2020 in B.com Honors Accounting and finance. College doesn't support for placement but they try for it through private institutions who provide job assistance if you complete their course.
Infrastructure: Harimohan Ghose College is not very good but it's ok by its infrastructure. Class rooms are good but need to repair library and latest year books are there in library. Wifi is not available in campus. Canteen is not available. Recently college has started construction of auditorium may be it will be completed next year.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very helpful. Their teaching experience helps us to learn things easily. Of course course curriculum is relevant for this generation industry. In this course you will learn how an organization run through business books and calcification of financial statements.
Other: I chose this course because I love accounting. I understand how it works and the best thing is its related to real world not only for job. This course helps you to manage your own financial health. In my opinion computer skills might be done more better.

It is the best college for arts.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. About 44% of students got internships at Lalani Group.
Infrastructure: All computers were clean and had a silent atmosphere. Our college provided very good facilities. The food quality of the canteen was very good. Medical facilities were up to the mark. Our college had a huge space for sports and outdoor games. Our college maintenance was very good.
Faculty: All teachers were very cooperative excellent, and experienced. Their way of teaching was very good. The course was very helpful for the industry. Semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 58%.
Other: I opted for this course because we have low competition in this industry. Our college should provide some more practicals. Scholarships are useful. Our college is in the joy of Kolkata. It always connects with any transportation. Our college conducts an annual function very smoothly. Everyone who joins this function they are very talented and responsible.
