Nice infrastructure and teaching staff.
Placements: There are around 50 students in my class. The highest package offered to my seniors is around 20 LPA. Top companies are Sun Pharma, Cipla, and Apollo Pharmacy. Around 50-60% of students got internships at Apollo Pharmacy. Roles offered by the course are control analyst, research associate, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are nice, neat, and clean. College is situated in a nice area. There are many labs, classrooms, and library at the college. Canteen food is also awesome. Medical facilities are also available. Sports are also provided to students, and hostel rooms are also good.
Faculty: All teaching staffs are well educated and experienced. They are helpful everytime, and the teaching quality is nice, never seen such type of teachers. Course curriculum is properly managed by teachers and research faculty members. Most of the students graduated from the university.

The college campus is very nice. I had great experience during the 4 years of my course.
Placements: The placements are still going on. The roles include that of consultant and other various posts. The average packages range from 15000 to 20000. Top companies are from Chandigarh and many other places. Maximum number of students are expected to be placed after the process is completed.
Infrastructure: There is sufficient amount of Wi-Fi installed and the classrooms are equipped with smart screens and ACs. The libraries and labs are well-equipped and handled. The food in the canteen is good and the medical and sports facilities are also well and good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with sufficient amount of degrees obtained by them. The curriculum makes the students ready for their jobs. Th exams difficulty level is upto an estimated level where the students can obtain marks when studied well. The passing percentage varies according to the subjects. However, the estimated percentage is around 33%.
Other: The best thing is that the students get to learn to treat the patients and develop new medications.

Best college for B. Pharmacy.
Placements: Our college has good placements with every student getting placed successfully. The highest package offered was 10 Lacs per annum. Industries like Mankind and Cipla often conduct interviews in our college. It is such a pleasure to study in the great Himalayan Institute.
Infrastructure: We have well furnished labs and classrooms with AC. Every class is equipped with smart LED screens. Every student gets the opportunity to use smart classrooms and learn new study tools. We have the latest instruments like UV spectrometer, HPLC, IR, dissolution apparatus, etc. available. There is a separate facility for pharmacology students having an animal house available.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have doctorate and post graduate degrees. They are very helpful and intelligent. We have mentorship system in our college. Mentors are always available to help and address our queries. We have 50+ teachers available in the Pharmacy department. 35+ non teaching staff is also available.
Other: I chose pharmacy due to the wide career opportunities available post B. Pharmacy.

Not satisfied with the placements.
Placements: 50% of the students were placed only in 3rd party manufacturing companies. Minimum 12000 to maximum 16000 were the salary packages offered in our course. The top recruiting companies in our course are Sun pharmaceutical industries Ltd., and Dr. Reddy's laboratories Ltd.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of then college is good and maintained clean. Facilities available for our course include labs, classrooms and a library which are good. The condition of the hostel facilities is average, the food available in the mess is not healthy.
Faculty: The teaching staff in our course is good and has a helping nature. Some teachers are very helpful and qualified and also have great knowledge, skills and experience. For an average student, it would be really hard to pass this course. The passing marks in our course is 50 to 60%.
Other: I chose this course because Pharma is the undergraduate course which helps to gain knowledge in the field of pharmaceuticals sciences.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements, there is not a single MNC visiting for placements.
Placements: 5-6 percent students get placements. The highest package offered by the companies is around 13k to 15k per month. There are many 3rd party manufacturing companies visiting for placements. All the students get internships in various companies like Kala amb.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not working and the labs’ condition is very poor. If you get any glassware broken by mistake, they charge double penalty on you. They take extra lab maintenance charges, but there are no changes in the lab instruments and chemicals. The sports facility are not available in the college.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, qualified and also have great knowledge and skills. The exams are not much difficult if you cover the syllabus on time. The passing percentage of my class is 60-70 percent. Practical work is not performed properly due to the non availability of chemicals and instruments, the labs have expired chemicals.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of opportunities in the private sector as well as the government sector. You can also open a chemist shop. There is no facility of scholarship for students who are not citizens of H.P.
