At the end of the second semester, IBS Kolkata offers a Summer Internship Programme (SIP) of 14 weeks. SIP attempts to bridge the gap between the professional world and academic institutions. IBS Kolkata MBA admissions are based on the CAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT or IBSAT entrance exam conducted by the institute. The eligibility criterion is as follows:
- Candidate should have completed graduation (any discipline) with at least 50% aggregate and above with the medium of instruction as English.
- Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria for English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/NELT/IELTS
- Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations/viva/assignments) before May 31, 2024. The admission will remain provisional until they produce marks sheets and degree certificates.

The total tuition fee for the course is INR 9.11 lakh which is inclusive of a one-time application fee of INR 1,800.
