IHM Chennai - Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Scholarships and Funding
1. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are granted to the students of this Institute by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi.
2. Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare scholarships are granted to the SC/ST students of various courses of this Institute by Government of Tamil Nadu, other State Governments and Goveernment of India.

Top companies like Taj, ITC, IHG, Marriott, Hilton, etc., visit the college for campus recruitment. It is compulsory to take an internship in the 2nd year, where students choose the company and property.
Placements: This college has one of the top 5 placement records in India. Many top hotels and retail companies come for campus placement, including Taj, Hayat, ITC, and Leela Palace. Retail companies like Reliance, Aditya Birla Fashion, KFC, McDonald's, and Starbucks also come. The average salary package is around 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum.
