Is MBA at IIFT Kakinada better than T. A Pai Management Institute ?

Can students with a minimum cutoff for MBA get a seat at IIFT Kakinada?

To be eligible for admission to MBA (IB) courses at IIFT Kakinada, candidates must clear the minimum sectional IIFT cut offs. The cut offs for MBA-International Business admission differ by category. For example, the IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75, but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. To apply for the MBA programme at IIFT Kakinada, you must have passed Graduation with at least 55% marks and must have a valid score in the IIFT entrance exam. Candidates who clear the IIFT 2024 Cut Off will be shortlisted for the final selection round: PI and Extempore. In 2023, the IIFT Cut Off for MBA-IB were lower than in 2022. For general category candidates, it was 40 percentile, and for NC-OBC and Gen-EWS, it was 35 percentile.

Is CAT required for MBA at IIFT Kakinada?

Yes, for admission to IIFT Kakinada, candidates must qualify and obtain eligible CAT scores to get admission in its MBA programme. IIFT Kakinada also considers a candidate's performance in the following areas: Written Ability Test (WAT) Group Discussion (GD) Extempore Personal Interview (PI) To be eligible for admission to the IIFT MBA (Business Analytics) program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA out of 10. Along with this, candidates must have Mathematics or Statistics as a mandatory subject at the graduation level.

Is there any relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST candidates at IIFT Kakinada?

Yes, IIFT Kakinada provides relaxation in the aggregate to SC/ ST candidates. Those belonging to SC/ ST category get 5% relaxation in the Class 12 score. Such aspirants need to complete Class 12/ HSc examination in Arts, Commerce, Science stream or equivalent with at least 55% aggregate to apply for IPM.

Can students get selected at IIFT Kakinada with CAT score of 95 ?

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will accept scores obtained in class 12th and class 10th. The CAT score is not required to get admission at IIFT, Kakinada. One can join IIFT, Kakinada after clearing class 10th also. To be eligible for admission to the college one must have obtained 60% in class 10 and 55% if the candidate is from transgender category. A candidate can also join IIFT Kakinada after clearing the 12th.

Q: How many students can do MBA at IIFT Kakinada?

The Kakinada campus of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has 60 seats for the Integrated Program in Management (IPM).

Every year, around 40,000 students take the IIFT entrance exam, but only 400 are admitted. The 2022–2024 MBA (IB) batch had more than 400 students, with 58% having work experience and 51% from an engineering background.
