IIM Raipur MBA is the residential flagship course. This is a full-time course offered for a duration of two years. IIM Raipur MBA course admission is done on the basis of students' performance in the CAT exam. Thus, candidates seeking admission to the two-year PGP programme must appear in the aforementioned examination. Given below is the step-wise process for IIM Raipur admission 2027.
1) IIM Raipur MBA Application Process 2027
Candidates seeking admission must appear in the Common Admission Test. Candidates interested in seeking admission in the 2027-29 batch can apply online and register themselves at www.iimcat.ac.in. Check out the step-wise CAT 2026 application process.
- Go to the CAT website
- Click on the 'registration' tab
- Enter name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, and email ID to register
- Log in using the registered ID and fill out the CAT application form
- Upload required
- Select preferred courses and IIMs
- Select CAT exam city preferences from the drop-down menu
- Pay the CAT application fee of INR 2,700 (General, EWS and NC-OBC) and INR 1,350 (SC, ST and PwD) via credit/debit card or net banking
2) Registration for PI through Joint Admission Process (JAP)

3) Shortlisting of candidates for final admission
Based on CAT, PI, Work experience, gender diversity and academic record, the institute will prepare a final admission cutoff for admission.

A candidate who wishes to withdraw admission from IIM Raipur, will be refunded the entire fee paid by the candidate after deduction of INR 1000. Candidate who withdraws after the last date as specified by the institute, the fee will be refunded after deducting hostel and other charges applicable.
IIM Raipur cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MBA/PGDM course based on the CAT entrance examination. As per the estimated CAT cutoff for the General AI category, the percentile required was 94 to be eligible for the next rounds of admission, which involve WAT, GD and PI rounds.

IIM Raipur MBA Scholarship 2026
IIM Raipur provides a scholarship for its MBA and MBA in Public Policy and Governance courses. This programme is only valid for Chhattisgarh domicile and is offered in partnership with IIM Raipur and the Department of Good Governance and Convergence. The Government of Chhattisgarh will sponsor the entire tuition fee for selected candidates. Also, a monthly stipend of INR 50,000 per month will be given to each student enrolled in the MBA in Public Policy and Governance.
