Yes, IIFT Kakinada considers scores in IPMAT for admission. Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test or IPMAT is conducted at national-level every year by IIM Indore. It is a gateway to get a seat in the IIFT IPM course. The test is conducted in online mode for two hours in English language. Aspirants who pass IPMAT with a good score can get admission provided they also meet the eligibility requirements.

IIFT Kakinada does not offer direct admission. Aspirants have to first apply on the institute's website for admission. Aspirants must hold a valid score in IPMAT for a seat in the institute. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will accept scores obtained in class 12th and class 10th. The CAT score is not required to get admission at IIFT, Kakinada. One can join IIFT, Kakinada after clearing class 10th also. To be eligible for admission to the college one must have obtained 60% in class 10 and 55% if the candidate is from transgender category. A candidate can also join IIFT Kakinada after clearing the 12th.

According to the IIFT Kakinada 2022-27 prospectus, candidates must have passed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in 2020, 2021, or 2022 with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) in the arts, commerce, or Science stream. 

A student with 60% in 12th class can get into IIFT if they perform well in other selection process segments, such as the written test, personal interview, group discussion, and essay writing. 

According to Shiksha, students from any stream with 50-60% marks in 12th can apply for admission to good BBA colleges through GD/PI rounds. However, eligibility may differ slightly from institute to institute. 

IIFT Kakinada offers admission to 60 seats available in the IPM programme. The institute offers seats to candidates based on their IPMAT score. IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore once in a year in online mode. The institute releases a merit list based on the IPMAT score of the candidates. Selected aspirants have to further pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

The IIFT cut-off usually ranges between 35-40 marks for the General category. To apply for the MBA programme at IIFT Kakinada, you must have passed Graduation with at least 55% marks and must have a valid score in the IIFT entrance exam. 

Candidates who clear the IIFT 2024 Cut Off will be shortlisted for the final selection round: PI and Extempore. In 2023, the IIFT Cut Off for MBA-IB were lower than in 2022. For general category candidates, it was 40 percentile, and for NC-OBC and Gen-EWS, it was 35 percentile.
