The worst management of IIIT Manipur.
Placements: There are no placements at all. Seniors said that they have not gotten any help from the placement cell of the college. Not even a single time. They have struggled to get even an internship. All the claims are just false here; companies don't come, and those 2-3 companies that are interested don't pick students. This is the harsh reality.
Infrastructure: As for now, residing in the temporary campus, there is nothing good to say about the infrastructure. They have no better classrooms, nor do they have good hostels. The library is also not a better place to study; actually, you can't. The director doesn't care a bit. Even though in recent times he has been charging students for everything.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are good, but most are not teaching seriously. At the end of the day, we have to study by ourselves. They only come to use slides and then go back. One thing is that the questions are repeated. So get some PYQ and prepare to get some good marks.
Other: Connectivity is poor. The only secure way is by fighting. It will cost you at least 15k for one round trip. Fees are so expensive. Administration sees you as a bank. They charge a fine for anything. Not only this, but they had charged 60 for washing machines used to wash clothes.

Average college. Decent placements. Basic infra. The hostel/mess is below average. Will have to work
Placements: About 70-80% of students are getting placements. If you are well-prepared, then you will most likely get a good internship and placement. The highest PPO till now is 18 LPA; for the previous year, it was around 40 LPA. The average is around 7-10 LPA. Companies like Slice, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Nvidia, Deloitte, etc., and other startups come for placement, including roles like data analyst, software developer, and many others.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very small (temporary), and the new campus is under construction, but it never seems to get finished. The college and mess staff are rude sometimes; the food is of average quality, and the hostel and mess are below average for the amount of money you are paying. You will just have to survive for 4 years in the hostel and mess. Classrooms and labs are fine. You will find most of the equipment here, but it is not much of use. The library is small, with only one ground for all students. No big fests, only one throughout the whole year. No medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are average; most of them are assistant professors, not even professors. Some of them are just pure evil; they won't let you live if you get in their bad books. You'll have to study on your own for a good placement; don't depend on college. A hectic schedule, monthly exams, and a stressful environment, but you'll get a 4-month break in the entire year because semesters are only 4 months each. Courses are not too difficult, but you will have to study; you cannot get good grades (>8 CPI) studying one night before. The curriculum is the same as that of other IIITs and NITs.
Other: I got CSE, that's why I came here. If you can manage without complaining and live with less comfort, then only come here because there will be many problems of all kinds. I wish the director were different so that we could get things better. The current temporary campus is safe, as this is the official area, and there is a police headquarters just beside the hostel. Not much of a college life. There are markets nearby, but this is not like any city; this is mostly a village.

Review of IIIT Manipur - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The placement season has started for the 28th batch, and the training and placement cell is active as they are posting on LinkedIn to companies to come for the placement drive. Last year’s stats showed a placement rate of 70-80%, and the highest was 45 LPA, which was off.
Infrastructure: Hostels have nearly all the facilities needed by students daily, like Wi-Fi, a gym table, a bed, a chair, and an almirah in rooms, although washing machines are chargeable. The campus is temporary with limited, basic facilities; a new campus is in Senapati.
Faculty: Regular assessment exams are in place of mid-semester exams, with regular lectures leading to a hectic schedule in the first year; however, some relief is experienced in the second year as subjects decrease, and there are also good free hours. Faculty members are good and helpful, although there are some exceptions.

It is good and I am enjoying it.
Placements: Last year placement statistic was about 75%. The highest salary is about 45 LPA, This year placement season has started. Many seniors have already taken off-campus placement. Institute is allowing only high CGPA students to seat in placement drive.
Infrastructure: There are all basic and needed facilities available in the hostel like Wi-Fi, geyser, chargeable washing machines, table, chair, almirah, and bed. While the college is running in the temporary campus, our hostel is also outside the campus but girls ones are inside.
Faculty: It has very hectic and tight schedule so no free time to explore new fields. There are no mid-semester exams but there are end-semester exams. There are regular assessments which are also hard, and its difficult to score good. Course curriculum is good.

It is good not that much bad.
Placements: Placement season has started. Our teachers and professors are working on placement of the students. Last year placement statistic was nearly 75%. The highest package is 45 LPA, and I don't know even it is on-campus or off-campus. Major recruiting varies.
Infrastructure: Institute is running in its temporary campus, which is good compared to other colleges' temporary campus. It has well-maintained grounds but some classrooms are old and need repair. Hostel has Wi-Fi, geyser but washing machines are chargeable.
Faculty: It has very hectic and tight schedule so no free time to explore new fields. There are no mid-semester exams but there are end-semester exams. There is regular assessment which is also hard and its difficult to score good. Course curriculum is good.

Everyone has their review.
Placements: Placement is not that good, but if you are good enough, you can grab a good package on your own from off-campus. Highest package mentioned on website is 45 LPA, and no data about the lowest. Top recruiting companies are not specified, as they vary.
Infrastructure: New campus is under construction, and temporary campus is there. Once new campus starts, the infrastructure will be at peak in hostels. There is a charge for using washing machines, and no medical facility there, but a charge is taken. Limited sports.
Faculty: Very hectic and tight schedule, so no free time to explore new fields. There are no mid-semester exams, but there are end-semester exams, and there is regular assessment, which is also hard, and it's difficult to score well. Course curriculum is good.

If you've got 90 percentile in JEE and you're OBC, then yep, IIIT Manipur is definitely in the picture for CSE. Their cutoffs for OBC hover around 90–92 percentile most years, so you're right there. Just don't skip the later JoSAA rounds, they're lowkey your best shot. Keep a couple backup colleges
