Class 10th and 12th % doesn't matter for getting into IIM. But they maybe considered during placement. But thats ok in your case. It shows that you have uplifted your standard from 10th to 12th and then maintained it in your UG degree. You'll have to appear for CAT exam. Requirement is minimum 50% in any UG degree, you are far ahead. Performing well will help you keep a high percentile and you may get the call from any of the IIMs you were waiting for. IIMs put a cutoff of 60% for past academic performance. You are just on the boarder line. Hence to get a call from IIMs, you will need to do really well in CAT. As most IIMs compute a composite score based on your previous academic performance. You would not have good standing with respect to composite score, hence really good performance in CAT is the only way out for you.

It totally depends on your preference and what you want to do in your life. For example, marketing and at times finance companies look to hire freshers or students with relevant experience. Consulting and general management firms typically hire people with some experience. Also if you work for a couple of years, you get some insights into corporate world and hence are better placed to make decisions regarding your career. keeping these things in mind you should decide when you want to pursue your MBA. Either way you are not disadvantaged to get an admission in IIMs.

It would violate the privacy of the candidates and it would not be representative of the situation. As CAT is held in different slots and with different difficulty level. Unless normalized, stand alone scores would mean very little. Hence they publish only normalized rank and percentile (which is rank of candidates).

I am not sure I understood your question correctly. If you want to understand CAT cutoff, it varies for different institutes, different categories and different background. For example an engineering male graduate from general category at IIM Ahmedabad would have to secure 99.5% percentile to merit an interview call. Whereas for a female commerce graduate it might be around 97 percentile. In short, you should give your best and secure as much marks as you can. Higher marks usually gives you an advantage during interview. All other things are externalities that you can not control.
