IIM Shillong College Review.

Placements: IIM Shillong was definitely worth a look. Around 60 to 75% of applicants get accepted. It was pretty good. When it comes to the average salary package, it ranges from about 11 to 25 LPA. They provide some solid vocational training, which is a great way to get hands on experience. Job prospects, you would be in good company with big names like Ford, HDFC Bank, Google, IBM, and Accenture looking to hire. Positions like Programme Executive and Project Manager were just a couple of the high level jobs.

Infrastructure: The amenities in the colleges campus housing include Wi-Fi, drinking water, lighting, fans, and beds. Plus, we had air conditioned classrooms and a well equipped central library where students could borrow books. The food quality at the mess was just average. Three canteens on campus serve some really tasty fast food. We also got a small sports field for volleyball, football, and cricket.

Faculty: Faculty members were friendly, and they really helped students tackle the tough parts of the material. They encourage questions and try to clear up any confusion, so students can eventually step into the professional world with confidence. The pass rate was just over 50%, and a lot of that stems from students not being fully engaged. Teachers remain supportive through it all.

The best college for placements.

Placements: Latentview, Amagi, Yes Bank, and Microsoft are the most important recruiters from IIM Shillong. IIM Shillong has given 87% of placements in my academic year. Also, 31.5 LPA is the best package offered to the students, especially for the postgraduate program.

Infrastructure: They are good at providing transportation facilities within or outside the college. Mobile phones should not be carried inside the classrooms, it should be switched off and kept in the Laboratories before entering into classrooms. Also it's one of the most technological updated college.

Faculty: The academic excellence of IIM Shillong set illustrations for some other institutions over there. Coaching and guidance given by them, made to study well and to score higher ranks. Teachers performance result in increasing the admissions of students every academic year by 25%.

Firstly preferred college by students.

Placements: Number of industries that came for placements would have been increasing every year and by the academic year, 2023, 173 companies arrived for campus drives. More than 60 companies are top companies offering the highest salary packages ever. Also, I am amazed by the work done by the placement team for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The beautifully landscaped campus with ample space attracts students to choose this college for pursuing. Hostel rooms are so comfortable and very clean, sanitized by workers regularly and we would accessible to clean drinking water and purified water. Foods are so nutritious to eat in the hostel areas.

Faculty: It's a one year course teachers take care of our academic standards very well, they are experts in solving our doubts. They give priority to building students as a well disciplined one. They are the real assets of the college and maintain the unity of students.

Placements: Adani Wilmar, Brain Company, and Case & Co. were the most common top recruiters from IIM Shillong. Mostly, 32% of students got placed in top companies, with the highest package being 52.5 LPA and the lowest package being 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Food was high enough to meet hygienic and nutrition standards. Food was served according to the needed quantities. Fresh foods are cooked three times a day and cannot be reused. Also, there is no chance for hostellers to approach hotel food on weekdays.

Faculty: College was well-renowned for its academic excellence with advanced academic assistance. Scores and grades played a mandatory role in the selection of students for placement training. All feedback, surveys, data, and quizzes were prepared by faculty members and stored in their files for future needs.

IIM Shillong is very good and provides many facilities.

Placements: IIM Shillong provides good placements. The TNP cell of IIM Shillong encourages students to learn new things that help their careers. They will conduct workshops based on job-oriented learning. The highest package is 30 LPA. The average package is 15 LPA. In IIM Shillong, almost all students got internship opportunities in the 2nd year. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Tata, Accenture, Cognizant, etc., are top recruiters.

Infrastructure: Our institute has marvelous infrastructure and provides all facilities. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate a large number of students. They have a hostel for both boys and girls. In the hostel, there are good facilities with neat rooms and good food quality. The staff care about study very well.

Faculty: Faculty members at IIM Shillong are very good and use whiteboards to explain problems. They use presentations to explain topics in detail. Exams are held very strictly by the college. They provide assignments as internal exams. They conduct mid-term and semester exams after a gap of one month. The passing percentage is 70%.

Overall best College for PGPM Course.

Placements: Students have a great opportunity to apply for our degree at IIM Shillong. Approximately 60–75% of students are accepted into this college. In our college, the average package supplied was between 11 and 25 LPA. This college also offers vocational training to its students. For our course, the top employers at this college are Ford, HDFC Bank, Google, IBM, Accenture, and others. Program Executive, Project Manager, and other high-level positions are available.

Infrastructure: Being a temporary university, it lacks various basic facilities like a sports center, computer lab, etc., but the university is well-located. All the basic requirements are nearby. We would transfer to the new campus this year. The hotel rooms are small and can accommodate two or three people. Mess food is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members typically have advanced degrees from prestigious institutions and have significant research and teaching experience. Teachers often have exceptional expertise in their field, bringing both teaching and practical insights to the classroom. In semester exams, it is easy to score high marks, and the pass rate of students is 87%.
