- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- MBA (Executive-Hybrid) 2026 applications are open, and the last date to apply is Jan 15, 2026. Further, the IIMNAT (IIM Nagpur Aptitude Test) will tentatively be held in Feb 2026.
IIM Nagpur - Indian Institute of Management Courses & Fees 2025
The institute offers various courses and candidates can apply for any of the 52 courses available. The IIM Nagpur offers MBA/PGDM, Executive MBA/PGDM and Certificate. The candidates needs to have the following documents:
1. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
2. Bachelor degree
3. Entrance exam scorecard
4. Caste certificate
5. Experience letter if applicable
Candidates need the following documents while filling the CAT application form:
- A recent passport size photo (color against white background)
- Scanned signature with black pen on white paper
- Any photo ID card like PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Graduation marksheet
- Permanent address proof
- Work experience documents Reserved category students need to upload Category Certificate along with the CAT application form. The Certificate is available on the CAT website. Candidates can download, fill it, get it attested by competent authority and upload it as PDF with the CAT application form.
- The PwD category students also have to fill the PwD form and Scribe affidavit along with the exam application form. This is necessary for getting scribe facility and PwD facility at the test centre. The CAT application form is same for students from all categories. Those belonging to a particular category (SC/ST/PwD) will be required to mention it in the relevant field of the CAT form.
Candidates are shortlisted for IIM Nagpur PI round on the basis of their CAT scores. According to past cutoff trends, general and EWS candidates must try to achieve at least 95% or above in CAT. Hereafter, shortlisted candidates are invited via mail by the institution for PI and WAT rounds.
IIM Nagpur's past three years of CAT cutoff percentiles range between 94 and 95 for the General AI category candidates for MBA admission. So, in case you belong to the general category, it will be difficult for you to get into IIM Nagpur going by the past year's cutoff trends. The institute released the qualifying CAT cutoff 2024 for different categories, wherein the overall minimum required cutoff percentile is 95 and the section cutoff percentile is 75 for shortlisting candidates for the first stage of admission. IIM Nagpur 2025 FAQs
For admission to IIM Nagpur for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Nagpur admission.
For admission to the MBA 2026 batch at IIM Nagpur, the CAT test will be conducted in the month of November. Aspirants of IIM Nagpur are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centers. The exam will be held in three slots:
- Morning - 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon - 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Evening - 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

IIM Nagpur admission are closed for the year 2025. IIM Nagpur opens admission to most of its courses in the first week on January every year. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the year 2026.
