For the flagship PGP course, the total academic fee of INR 26.18 lakh is distributed across six total terms over two years. Other charges include a security deposit of INR 90,000. It is followed by Term 1 at INR 3.63 lakh, and Terms 2 through 6 at INR 4.33 lakh each (inclusive of localised mess advances).

• Fee Exclusions: Textbooks, personal laundry, and international immersion study modules. International immersion tours are billed at actual costs based on travel and lodging logistics.

• Non-Academic Expenses: Basic domestic hostel room fees, corporate IT infrastructure access, students' welfare associations, and institutional group medical insurance are embedded into the non-academic component of the active term fee structures.

Fee Deductions

• Prior to Classes Deduction: Post-campus registration but before classes start, refunds exclude INR 1,000, plus fixed insurance premiums and weekly-calculated hostel room charges.

Mid-Term Exit Clauses

• Tuition Forfeiture: Once Term 1 lectures officially commence, the paid primary core tuition module fee becomes 100% non-refundable.

• Mandatory Component Retention: If exiting post-commencement, IIM Shillong retains the INR 90,000 base admission allocation along with weekly-prorated tuition and hostel tabs.

• Refundable Components: Students who withdraw mid-course remain eligible to retrieve their INR 20,000 caution deposit and any unused mess advances
