Review of IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: The college has a tremendous placement record. The college placement committee is very supportive. They are aware of their responsibilities as they guide us and help us throughout the placement drive of the college. The college has a 100% placement record. The highest package for our batch goes up to around 45 LPA, and the average package is 20 LPA. A few of students receive pre-placement offers during the internship programme. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, L&T, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Amazon, Barclays, Deloitte, Jaguar Land Rover, JIO, Tata Digital, Quantile Analytics, Microsoft, Google visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is available at an affordable price, with students required to do registration first for the hostel and PG. There is a 24-hour water supply. Rooms are available for sharing as well as separate.

Faculty: All faculty members are India's best scientists. They not only teach us the subject, but also train us to think more about our subjects. We have to take some projects. In those projects, teachers teach us to innovate. They are well-disciplined and punctual. Good guidance is offered, and the caring nature of faculty helps one to move forward easily. We have 3 internal exams and one University exam. Internal exams have 2 cycle tests, which constitute 10 internal marks each, and the model exam carries 20 internal marks. Then 5 marks for assignments and 5 marks for attendance of particular subjects. The course curriculum is very good and updated. It is highly competitive, and analytical and reasoning-based studies support the betterment of students. Some teachers are a gem to learn from, but most teachers lack proper knowledge of the subject. Most students rely on self-study. The curriculum is up to the mark and follows modern norms.

Everything about IIT Bhubaneswar.

Placements: For my course, roles offered are graduate engineer trainee (GET), AI/ML, data science, data analytics, consulting, software engineering, etc. The highest package is 56 CTC, and the least is 6.5 CTC. In my course, less than 30% of students got internships, and some of them got off campus. But the placement percentage is around 70 percent.

Infrastructure: There is 24X7 medical facility inside the college. Food items in the mess are not too bad but some of them are really good. Library is open till 12 midnight. The classrooms are too good with the AC and Wi-Fi inside the classes. Labs contain more types of equipment with more diverse projects.

Faculty: Till now, the old timetable has been followed. But from the coming academic year, a new timetable will start. Mechanical curriculum is a little bit hectic but the CSE curriculum is simple. Faculty members are too experienced, and many of the students are working on projects with their guidance.

Life and culture at IIT Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Till now, in my course about 75 percent of students are placed. My course is mechanical engineering. BPCL, HPCL, and BEL are the PSUs that come for the placements. Recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Reliance, ZS Associate, Zomato, Flipkart, and Media. There are companies that offer different roles with a package between 10 CTC to 56 CTC.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so nice, and the college look greenery. Hostel rooms are so clean, and one student per room. Every floor or room will have a Wi-Fi or LAN network. There is a night canteen as well for every hostel which will work from evening till 2:00 AM.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful, but all the faculty members are too qualified. For our batch, in my second and third year time-table schedule is too hectic. There are more exams as well. Some of the exams are tough and require more preparation.

I like my college and faculty.

Placements: In our college, a maximum of 80 to 90% students are placed in different top companies in India. Jsw, Tata Power. Mahindra automobile, and various multinational companies like Meta, and space research organisations like ISRO, NASA, etc. At a good package of 10 to 30 Lacs per annum, and it increases yearly.

Infrastructure: Our college hostel is very good at this price. Our college food quality is very good and hygienic. Our classrooms are very advanced and well-furnished. Our college authority provided 24-hour high-speed Wi-Fi to the college and hostel. In the college, various types of labs are provided by the college authority.

Faculty: Our college faculty are highly qualified and knowledgeable, who have helped us during the examination and study. They are very strict in nature. In our college, two semesters are held in a year. The pass percentage is 95%; it fluctuates every year.

Other: I chose the course for my future research and innovation. Our college provides scholarships to knowledgeable students.

Review of IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: The maximum number of chemical and pharmaceutical companies reserved students from our department. Companies like Vinati Organics, Henkel, Camlin Fine Sciences, MECON Ltd, Asian Paints, and Oil India Ltd compulsorily looked for deserving students in our organisation for hiring.

Infrastructure: Our course had a fee structure of Rs. 80,000 per year. It could vary by Rs. 10,000 based on the selection of the course. For accommodation, three hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. Within the college, mini shopping halls for purchasing all kinds of emergency things.

Faculty: It was difficult to understand the point of view of teachers most of the time, as their standards were much higher. Their actions were much clearer than their words. Exams were conducted frequently. Results were revealed at least twice a month.

About the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar.

Placements: As of now, around 50 percent of students were placed. Top companies are Zomato, Flipkart, Visa, HSBC, etc. For Mechanical students, top companies are ZS, Zomato, Skyroot Aerospace, Reliance, etc. Most of the students didn’t get internships as expected, but the placements are going good.

Infrastructure: There are three boys’ hostels and three girls’ hostels. In new hostels, Wi-Fi is provided, but in all hostels, LAN network is available. There is a hostel for couple Ph.D. students as well. There is a night canteen facility also. Mess food items are not too bad, but not too good also.

Faculty: In second and third year, almost every branch has more exams, but not for CSE students. The number of courses is more in those years compared to remaining years. Faculty are also talented, and many of them provide projects to students to work under them or with their guidance.

Other: Throughout the year, so many events happen in the college. There are two fests and various competitions across the branches.
