Placements: The placement in our course was good compared to other colleges. The placement percentage was around 80 percent. The highest package offered in our course was 14 LPA. The average package was around 6 LPA. Top recruiters were Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
Placements: The placement percentage in my college in the computer science course is very good. Around 90 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 70 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 10 LPA. The average package offered is 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, Zomato, etc.
Placements: I am from the 2026 pass-out batch. We have good placements of around 70 percent in mechanical as of now. The highest salary package offered is 58 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 12 LPA. Top companies like Zomato, Tata Steel, HPCL, and BPCL hire students. Around 40 percent of students got internships. Top roles like GET and trainee are offered here.
Placements: My branch is EP, which is a new branch and is introduced in 2024 in IIT BBS, so I don’t have information about placements in my branch. But placements of this college are average, and the companies that come to the college are mostly tech companies. Core companies are very less.
Placements: The student can sit in placement in the last year of the course. Campus hiring is really good, with companies like Google, Accenture, Oracle, and Rippling also coming to the campus and offering good packages to students. Recently, Oracle offered 64 LPA packages, and the average package is around 12 LPA to 15 LPA. The internship opportunities are really good and join an internship in the third year of your course. Placements: IITs offer a very good package actually. Being a second generation IIT, our college is growing day by day. Our professors are working very hard to improve the placement activities. Although it is not that much bad. The average package in our college is more than 10 LPA.

IIT Bhubaneswar M.Tech fee includes a caution deposit of INR 12,000. It is a refundable fee component and one-time chargeable. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctionin body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.
MTech tuition fees is INR 20,000. The overall fee may include other things such as hostel fees, security deposits, etc.
The tuition fee for a two-year MTech course is INR 20,000. Its total fee includes components, such as hotel fee (if applicable), caution deposit, and other amounts to be paid at the time of admission. Candidates have to submit the compulsory fee at the time of admission to confirm seats. This given fee is taken from official sources and hence is subject to changes. Candidates wanting to get admission need to submit the application fee for GATE as well.
