You should consider taking admission in interior designing.
Placements: 70% of students in our university are placed in different companies. Many students are preparing for higher studies, and many start their own businesses. Internship programs are available at our university, but only for final-year students. Their package is approximately 2 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Many facilities and infrastructure are available at our university, such as labs, Wi-Fi, library, classrooms, medical benefits, sports, and games. Labs and classrooms are very good as well as very clean. There is no hostel for boys or girls, but outside PGs are available with decent food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They prepare students very carefully for exams, interviews, and portfolios. The semester exams are challenging, but if everyone follows teachers’ guidance, they can get good results.

Best college for the Interior Design course.
Placements: IIFD Kolkata is a very popular and good college in India. It provides 99% placements and internships. Placements are provided according to our studies. The highest package ranges from 15-18 LPA. The average salary is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Students are placed in many interior or design companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is so good. Inside our college, we are inspired by many small things. Our classrooms are very big and connected with projectors. There is no hostel facility. All types of reference books are available in our library. High-speed internet facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and experienced. They are very knowledgeable and always try to make our future bright. Teachers in our subjects give facilities to complete our final year projects. Semester exams are a little bit difficult but not very hard to pass because at IIFD, teachers solve all our problems on a daily basis and give class notes. In our department, all students pass exams.

Best design college in Kolkata.
Placements: I am currently a student of the 2025 to 2029 batch so I am still exploring a lot about the college and industry experience. I do not have complete knowledge about placement yet but after talking with seniors and alumni I learned that college provides really strong placement support.
Infrastructure: IIFD has modern classrooms, creative studios, advanced labs, high-speed Wi-Fi and all the equipment needed for practical learning and skill development. There is one problem no hostel for boys and girls for outside students also near the college they have many PGs with affordable prices.
Faculty: Here are the best teachers across design colleges. The teachers at IIFD are highly experienced and helpful for students making the learning process very easy and interesting for us. We get practical experience through regular workshops and live practice on projects.

Fashion-focused learning with strong placements and events.
Placements: I am in 2nd year of my course B.Des 4-year degree program. I have only been listening to my seniors and teachers, who have almost all their students placed this year. Top roles offered include fashion stylist, designer assistant, merchandiser, and even visual branding associate roles.
Infrastructure: I want to say IIFD is the best place to start your journey. The campus is quite modern and full of all the needed amenities. Our department has dedicated fashion labs, pattern-making studios, illustration rooms, and full Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms. The hostel facilities are clean, secure, and comfortable.
Faculty: The pass percentage is quite high, and I feel it's good because the college provides full academic support and feedback before exams. Overall, the environment is very student-friendly. The course curriculum is updated. It covers everything from basic design concepts to advanced topics like fashion marketing, garment construction, draping, and styling.
Other: I'm talking about campus life, they have fashion shows, design exhibitions, festival events, student fest, and many more activities. Overall, the college gives me a vibrant, creative space to grow and build a future in the design industry.

The college is good. Everything is awesome.
Placements: The college has 99% placement with salaries from 8-10 LPA. It partners with major brands, fashion houses, Marks and Spencer, etc. There is a 99 percent internship rate for students every year. Every year, they host fashion shows, which provide a great platform for studies and help students learn about fashion.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. The classrooms have smart boards, Wi-Fi, and we also have our production rooms. The rooms are divided into many parts. In the hostel, we are happy with the facilities; two students share one room, but each room feels like home. Every morning, we receive breakfast. However, the timings for entering the hostel are a bit strict.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and the student curriculum is relevant. It prepares students for the industry. It depends on the student how prepared they are for exams; otherwise, the exams are good. We have 6-9 subjects per semester, and all exams are set by the University, which is connected with them.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be in it and start my brand in the future. The studies and events are amazing, and we all truly enjoy participating in extracurricular activities.
