Best college with great experience.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely experienced with great industry connections that help students in the future. Exams are actually easy but the competition makes it hard since comparative marking is followed here. Pressure is what makes the exam difficult. Passing marks are usually above 40 percent in all subjects. The faculty members also stay here till 6:30 PM so it's usually good for asking doubts and seeking help.

Real experience and strong placement at IIFD Kolkata.

Faculty: What makes IIFD Kolkata stand out is the faculty with real industry experience not just theoretical knowledge. That difference shows in every single class. I have attended a fashion event on March 6-7, 2026 with batchmates which was a real experience. Till now, exams have been moderate but sometimes tough but best for students.

IIFD Gives You Skills The Industry Actually Wants.

Faculty: Faculty quality is one of IIFD the strongest points. Industry background shows in teaching style. Curriculum is practical and current. Exams range moderate to touch but it all depends on students how to prepare but completely fair overall for real learners.

Is the best college ever and top recommendations for Fashion Designing.

Faculty: During 2023-2025, exams included practical submissions, live projects, and viva presentations. Faculty members guide every time, and the curriculum focused on skills and creativity. Since it is 2026 now, the institute may have upgraded subjects and teaching methods further.

Fashion-focused learning with strong placements and events.

Faculty: The pass percentage is quite high, and I feel it's good because the college provides full academic support and feedback before exams. Overall, the environment is very student-friendly. The course curriculum is updated. It covers everything from basic design concepts to advanced topics like fashion marketing, garment construction, draping, and styling.

The college is good. Everything is awesome.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and the student curriculum is relevant. It prepares students for the industry. It depends on the student how prepared they are for exams; otherwise, the exams are good. We have 6-9 subjects per semester, and all exams are set by the University, which is connected with them.
