Indian Institute of Public Health - Shillong Scholarships and Funding
IIPH Shillong offers scholarships to students under four different categories.
Different categories of IIPH Shillong scholarships are listed below:
Infosys Fellowships in Public Health: Selection for the INFOSYS Fellowships are done through a rigorous selection process comprising of a written test followed by an interview. Offer of Fellowship is made on the basis of merit obtained in the two.
P&G Health Scholarship Criteria: The selection process for the P&G Health Scholarship will be based on the institutional guidelines including but not restricted to merit and demonstrated need. Selected students will be mentored over the course of study and will be guided to develop their full potential to pursue their passion and build a strong career in public health.
Emmes Scholarship Fund: This scholarship (full/ half/ part) fund will be available to students enrolling for Master of Public Health (MPH) programs at IIPHs (Delhi NCR, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Shillong).
Dr. PG Tulpule Scholarship Fund: Scholarship will be awarded to candidates who have a specific interest in Public Health Nutrition. This will be assessed through:
- previous work experience in public health nutrition OR;
- previous education or research projects focusing on public health nutrition OR
- specific focus on public health nutrition in the proposed course of study at IIPHs
Amongst the group that meets the above criteria, preference will be accorded to
- Women candidates
- Candidates with NGO work experience, or who will work in backward and rural districts in India pot PGDPHM course.
