The college gives an extraordinary environment for students to grow and face the real world.
Placements: IITTM Gwalior has shown marvelous performance from the batch 2024-25 and MBA students by placing them in renowned agencies in India. It has achieved 100% for placements this year. The lowest package offered is 2.4 LPA and the highest package is 3 LPA with sensitive, healthcare, and SL. Top recruiting companies are Vena World, The Return Journey, and Zenith. About 95% of students got internships from college in companies like Vena World and Go Anywhere Holidays. Roles that can be offered to students doing the courses are sales, operations, tour guiding, HR, and entrepreneurs.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is unique and very peaceful. It feels like we are living in a different world because it separates the city environment. The campus offers students to study from the library and e-library with free Wi-Fi. Smart classrooms are also provided. Students living in hostels have excellent security and nutritious food.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified. They help students when they struggle. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students ready for the real work culture of the industry. Exams are according to what the professor has taught in class and everything comes from the syllabus only.
Other: I chose this course for exposure to the real world and to enhance my skills. If there can be some improvement, then it would be adding an extra curriculum.

Better infrastructure and good facilities are available.
Placements: More than 70 percent of students were placed with a good salary package of 8 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was 3 lakhs per annum. Many recruiting companies like Wipro and Infosys visited our college. More than 10 percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with good facilities available. They provide Wi-Fi, labs with new equipment, and a library with research papers and books. The quality of hostel food is acceptable. Medical facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: Lecturers are strict and teach us well. They have good knowledge and qualifications, having completed higher education. Our course is not curriculum-relevant. The exams are tough, and we have to work hard. The passing percentage is 50 percent.

Reality for IGNTU-affiliated students.
Placements: For BBA students on our campus, there are no placements. Only about 10% of the students secured internships through the college, and these positions offered either low pay or no stipend. Common roles include international travel consultant, DMC manager, trip leader, and HR.
Infrastructure: In terms of accommodation, the facilities in the boys' hostel are significantly better compared to the girls' hostel, featuring automatic washing machines and personal toilets. The hostel infrastructure is spacious, although the quality of mess food is average. Various games, sports, and extracurricular activities take place.
Faculty: While our teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, the overall teaching quality has been affected as more than half of the faculty has been transferred, leading to irregular classes. Our juniors, affiliated with JNU, benefit from regular classes. The course curriculum for our batch (2022-25) is overly theoretical and lacks relevance to industrial practices. The exam standards for IGNTU batches seem to be inadequate.
Other: I chose this course because it is different and gives proper opportunities to this industry. It provides a student with several colors that they can choose from. One of the best aspects of this course is its flexibility, allowing students to pursue side hustles while managing their studies. The syllabus and teaching approach should focus more on practical applications rather than repeatedly covering tourism theory over six semesters. A practical teaching approach can significantly enhance student success in the industry. With JNU affiliation, students now have additional advantages they can leverage for their benefit.

A good college offering courses in tourism.
Placements: The offered salary ranges from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. Prominent employment firms such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, IRCTC, and others visit our campus to find candidates. Students have the opportunity to work as tour guides, travel agents, operators, etc. The salary range offered ranges from Rs. 14,000 per month for the lowest salary to Rs. 30,000 for the highest. About 60% of students at our college receive internships. Many companies are invited by the college.
Infrastructure: Football and cricket can be played in a sizable playground at the college. There is a fully equipped volleyball court available, and a nice garden with seating areas. Chess, table tennis, billiards, carrom board, and other games can be played in indoor game rooms. There is a hostel that offers cheap mess facilities as well. The college also has canteen facilities. The library has an adequate number of books to meet your knowledge needs.
Faculty: I chose this course because I am interested in the tourism industry. The course has an easy syllabus, which is its best feature. Improvements should be made to the college's placement and syllabus. There are numerous celebrations and festivities. The college organizes a sports week as well.
