Merit-Based Scholarship (Category 1):
This scholarship is provided at the rate of a 50% fee waiver in total academic / tuition fee per year for the entire duration of the programme up to 1% of the total students’ intake.
Merit scholarships will be granted based on merit at the entry level. The merit will be decided based on a weightage of 50% to HSC (for UG programs) or graduation (for PG programs) and 50% in qualifying entrance exam.
For continuation of scholarships to successive years, students must have CGPA more than or equal to 8.

Economical Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship:
The university shall provide 50% of exemption in the fee to 10% students belonging to EWS, irrespective of their caste. (Income certificate, 16, income tax return will be needed).

The MSc fee structure at School of Information Technology, Indira University consists of tuition fees, admission fees, examination charges, security deposit, hostel fees, etc. Students will generally find a total tuition fee of around INR 1.5 Lakhs - INR 1.75 Lakhs in terms of annual tuition fees.
Though the total course fee can go higher or lower depending on scholarships, extra charges, hostel fees, etc.
