My experience at Indira Gandhi Polytechnic College.
Placements: Placements are decent I completed my diploma during covid pandemic despite that college provides good placements. We have a what'sapp group for placements, all companies details and packages are posted here, interested students call apply. College also guides us in the whole interview process. 80% of students got placed. The average package is 3 LPA. Most students hired by quality departments of the companies. I got role of quality control trainee. First 6 months of job are considered as an internship later based on the performance you got on a role opportunity.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. It is located in a silent place full of trees. College is equipped with modern facilities. We have projectors, virtual lab, E-library, etc. Classrooms are big, each lecture is for 45 minutes. We have a hostel and I stayed in the hostel. Food is not good but rooms are spacious and cleaning is done every day. For sports, we have ground but it is empty all the time because no one has time.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very friendly and ready to help in nature. Apart from curriculum, we can share our thoughts with them. Most teachers are M.Teach qualified. Also, they cleared the GATE exam. Semester exams are not very difficult. Almost 80 to 90% of students easily pass exams but fundamentals need to be clear. One thing I don't like is the curriculum, it is very big and time is very less. We should remove some chapters.

I passed out from my college in 2022. It's a really nice college, "Indira Gandhi Polytechnic College
Placements: Almost 70-80% of our batch was placed. The highest package for freshers was about 20k, with the lowest and average around 10k. Some of the top recruiting companies are NEST Group and Dewton Company. All of our students got internships through our course at Bosch. Roles offered include Junior Technician, Junior Trainee, and Assistant Engineer in Electrical and Electronics.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our classrooms are good, featuring proper ventilation, smart classrooms, disciplined labs, and a library. The mess and canteen provide friendly food options, and the medical facilities include emergency transportation and first aid. Sports programs are conducted annually, and we have college teams for various sports.
Faculty: All of our teachers are well-qualified and educated. They are friendly yet strict. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready, with regular learning each semester. Not all semesters are very challenging, and the pass percentage is 60.
