The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved this course, and the institute offers AME programs in these two specializations, with a seat intake of 60 for each. The admission procedure is based on merit.

For admission to the Institute of Aeronautics and Engineering Bhopal for BTech course, candidates must have completed the Class 12 examination with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or a three-year approved Diploma in any of the streams. Eligible candidates can register on the official website of IAE for the BTech cousre. After registration candidates are required to fill out the application form. Candidates who have submitted the application form must appear for the selection rounds, including the SSAT. Once the exam is completed, candidates are shortlisted based on their scores.
