The number of students admitted to a particular class at Sha-Shib Group of Institutions is limited by the college or university. The Sha-Shib Aviation Academy, Cochin has 21 aircraft, including heavy and light planes. The academy offers five courses with an average annual fee of 2,08,000. The Sha-Shib Group of Institutions has over 14 institutes. The group has seven DGCA-approved AME institutes with seven DGCA-approved training managers.

Sha-Shib Aviation Academy provides scholarships to meritorious students based on the academic performance of the candidates and their SSAT score. SSAT (Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test) 2024 exam is taken by students' interested in the scholarship test.

It is merit based but you can apply here directly. you have to pass in the 12 th boards with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHEMATICS and you have to secure atleast 50% marks. And you have to pay the fees of the college which is nearly around 4-5 Lacs rupees (minimum) the highest fees is around 7.5 Lacs rupees ( for aeronautical engineering).

Candidates are admitted in Sha-Shib Academy of Aviation based on their performance in the last qualifying examination. In addition, aspirants shall also go through the Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test (SSAT). Candidates passing the exam are offered admission along with a scholarship. The seat allotment shall be carried out after the declaration of the SSAT Exam Result.

Some of the documents that the candidate shall keep handy at the time of Sha-Shib Aviation Academy form filling are:

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Passport-size photograph
• Aadhaar card or any other identity proof, etc.

These documents (copies/original) are required for submission. The academy verify candidates details with these documents.

SSAT is a gateway through which students can secure admission in aviation courses offered at various colleges of Sha-Shib group with a scholarship.
