IMI Noida Placement Overview 2024
International Maritime Institute (IMI) is associated with various premier shipping companies, such as Maersk Line, Maersk Tankers, MSC, PIL, Dockendale, etc. Many of these companies visit the Institute to hire deck and engine cadets. The official data for placements has not been released. As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the placement rate recorded in recent placements was 100%. The highest package offered during IMI Noida placements was INR 10 lakh per month for the Captain post. The students hired as cadets are offered monthly packages between INR 30,000 and INR 50,000.
The engine cadets undergoing the BTech and GME programmes participate in the campus placement drive in their seventh and second semesters, respectively. The Institute conducts comprehensive personality development classes to prepare them for the hiring process. These include general aptitude and reasoning ability tests, a round of internal assessment, mock interviews, etc.

The engine cadets undergoing the BTech ME and GME caders participate in the campus placements in their 7th semester and 2nd semester, respectively. A round of internal assessment and a mock interview is also conducted by a Chief Engineer.
