ISBR Business School Hosts "Cracking the Code" Workshop

April 1, 2025: ISBR Business School recently organized "Cracking the Code," a dynamic workshop aimed at preparing MBA and PGDM students for placement success. Led by Mr. Mohin Mohammed, APAC Early Talent Hiring Manager at Finastra, the session covered key topics like resume building, LinkedIn optimization, aptitude tests, and interview techniques.

Through interactive activities and practical strategies, students gained essential skills and confidence to excel in the placement process and their future careers. This workshop was an invaluable resource for shaping the students' professional journey.

ISBR Research Centre Congratulates Dr. Hemalatha K J on Ph.D. Achievement

April 1, 2025: The ISBR Research Centre extends its congratulations to Dr. Hemalatha K J on successfully completing her Ph.D. in Commerce from the University of Mysore. Her research, “A Study on Awareness & Effectiveness of SIDBI Loan Schemes for the Development of MSMEs in Bengaluru,” contributes valuable insights into the role of SIDBI loan schemes in boosting MSME growth.

ISBR Business School Hosts ICICI Securities Recruitment Drive, 13 Placements Secured

April 1, 2025: ICICI Securities conducted an extensive campus recruitment drive at ISBR Business School on December 4th, 2024, looking to fill positions for Relationship Manager and Equity Manager. The selection process was both rigorous and comprehensive, involving a combination of interviews and aptitude tests to assess candidates' skills and abilities. This thorough approach resulted in 13 ISBR students securing placements with ICICI Securities, showcasing the quality and talent of the students at ISBR Business School.

ISBR Students Shine at The Great Indian Startup Summit

April 1, 2025: A group of ISBR students volunteered at The Great Indian Startup Summit, hosted by The Builders Club, where they gained firsthand experience in the startup ecosystem. ISBR Group of Institutions Celebrates Annual Convocation Day

April 1, 2025: On November 4th, 2023 in Bangalore, ISBR, a beacon of excellence in management education, celebrated a major anniversary by hosting its Annual Convocation Day. This big event was held at Bangalore's exquisite Sathya Sai Samskruta Sadanam, where the whole ISBR community, as well as notable guests, gathered to recognize and applaud the graduating batches of MBA, PGDM, and PhD students. The presence of the respected chief guest, Senapathy "Kris" Gopalkrishnan, Co-Founder of Infosys, was the highlight of the day.

April 1, 2025: ISBR Business School is pleased to announce the exceptional success of the Erasmus Plus SPIRIT project, which began in January 2021 and has been a transformative journey. This project has seamlessly blended sports and physical education into the curriculum, encouraging students to participate.The ISBR Spirit Club, a beacon of this transformation, emerged as a testament to the project's spirit and core objectives. This initiative has bridged the gap between sports and education, promoting holistic and well-rounded education at ISBR.

The Erasmus Plus SPIRIT project's impact on the ISBR community has been a source of great pride. ISBR's dedication to holistic education and change is unbroken as it strives for improved health and well-being via the integration of sports and education. Numerous activities have been organised under the auspices of the ISBR Spirit Club to encourage physical activity, proper nutrition, and the avoidance of noncommunicable diseases.

The Erasmus+ Sports Education Project is a major effort conducted by the European Commission in partnership with a consortium of 12 universities that focuses on sports education research in three countries: India, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. Research and community development are used to create capacity in the domains of sports, physiotherapy, and physical education. Erasmus Plus is a European Union funding system that supports activities in education, training, youth, and sport. ISBR is an important Indian partner of the Erasmus Spirit Project in India.

ISBR Completes its First Cohort of Placement

April 1, 2025: Students in more than 70 firms were placed in the first cohort of the PGDM and MBA placements at ISBR, with the maximum pay offered being INR 13.58 lakhs. Major recruiters on campus and online made this possible.

Companies from a variety of industries, including IT/ITES, BFSI, FMCG, consulting, research & analytics, logistics, staffing & e-commerce, have taken part in the 2022 placement process.

Societe Generale, the London Stock Exchange, Wipro Blackstone, EY GDS, and Acuity Partners are prestigious companies that have recently been added to the renowned list of ISBR recruiters' portfolio. While the former employers, including PwC, ANZ, L'Oreal, HDFC, Federal Bank, Smart Stream, and many others, continued to employ personnel from ISBR.

Over 40 percent of those placed found chances in consulting roles this year, which made consulting the leading recruiting stream and saw an increase in offers from recruiters. PwC offered 18 offers, which was the most.

ISBR Reports 100% Internships Amid the Covid Pandemic

April 1, 2025: Though the global pandemic situations impacted all businesses and corporates adversely, the educational institutions did not lose hope. Despite the economic slowdown, Bangalore based one of the renowned management institutes, ISBR Business School managed to bring internship opportunities for all its students.

The internship season started in mid-November 2020. Similar to the other top business schools in the world, ISBR students have been through simulated virtual interviews arranged by the recruiters. The year 2020 also saw the institute embark on a new journey in partnership with Start-Ups & New Age businesses to recruit interns.

Over 100 companies participated in the internship season last year making a total number of 170 offers to the students. The highest stipend reported so far is Rs 25,000 per month.

The management grads are interning with some of the most renowned and premium brands in diverse sectors with students of HR and Marketing getting maximum number of offers. As per the response received, the institute is expecting 60 per cent of the students to receive PPOs from the companies they are interning with.

ISBR Business School Students Present Joint Research Paper at International Conference

April 1, 2025: MBA students of ISBR Business School, Rashmi Rao and Shraddha Pandey doing assistantship under Professor Veena Roy, presented joint research paper at International Conference on innovation in technology, business and management. Title of the paper was “eWOM (Electronic Word of Mouth)” and “Buying Patter of Consumers : A Thematic Analysis”.

This research aimed at analysing factors influencing electronic word of mouth as well as to assess its impact on consumers' buying habits for the device Samsung 7-in-1 (32 cm) HD LED Smart TV. Seven attributes were considered essential for E-word of mouth based on content and thematic analysis. The factors were product, price, place, promotion, packaging, installation and warranty. As per study product, price, place, promotion, packaging, installation and warranty are factors which influence the consumers in their purchase of the proposed product.

ISBR Business School Organises Business Conclave 1-2020

April 1, 2025: ISBR hosted the first edition of Business Conclave 2020 that addressed the recent developments in various industries. The theme of the conclave was Technology and Business.

Discussion were around many topics such as impact of digitalisation in current era, technology disruption in business and can AI replace human intelligence. To talk on the latest trends and practices, eminent industry professionals were invited such as Service Delivery Manager-Capgemini Lalitha, Srinivasa Rao; Senior Director-Global Solution Design Centre, Satish Ramaiah; Research Scientist-GE Healthcare, Vinoth Lakshmi Narayan; and Cloud Architect-Accolyte INC, Gulfam Wani.

Workshop on Research Problem Formulation

April 1, 2025: ISBR Business School organised a one-day workshop on Research Problem Formulation as a part of Faculty Development Programme. The workshop was facilitated by Director Ramaiah Public Policy Centre at ISBR Dr Arkalgud Ramaprasad. He discussed about how ontological research should be conducted in detail and also cited examples to prove his theories. The workshop was witnessed by faculty and research scholars from institutes such as Amity Business School, IFIM, Christ University, WeSchool, Acharya Institute of Management and faculty members of ISBR. Certificates were given to all the participants.
