B.Com. in Accounting and Finance - Batch of 2025
4.6

It has excellent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are very limited campus placements in this college. The average package ranges from 4-6 LPA in this course. Students get internships in CF firms and in the same college too. Students get high-paying jobs in internships and as well as experience too.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure for students. It has a very big campus. It also has a hostel and its own campus for students who cannot afford to live in Mumbai.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to us. They have brilliant knowledge about what they teach us and also have the best quality teaching. Semester exams are a bit difficult but 90-95% of students manage to make it. The remaining 5-10% of students will make it in 2nd attempt. They are most supportive in this college, especially in B.Com (accounting and finance).
Other: My special interest was in accounts. The accounting and finance course is the best for me because it has more accounts than theory subjects, so I chose it.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2023

I had a great college life.
Placements: Our college was good for completing basic education like B.Com, B.A., B. Tech, and B.Sc. They offered higher education but according to me, they offered courses. They did not provide job assistance so this was not good for students. Our college also provided other government exams which was good.
Infrastructure: Our college was very big. We had different buildings for different departments, one entire building dedicated to each department such as Commerce, Arts, Science, and Chemistry labs. We also had a library over there and they provided course books. One could issue books through library cards and could study from that.
Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful and some were not helpful also. Some teachers were so helpful that you will remember them even after college. Semester exams were moderate, not that difficult to crack. But still, 45 to 50% of students face at least one KT.

I suggest students do not take admission here.
Placements: To be honest, there are limited students in our batch. Approximately 35 students were there in the first year, and by the third year (last year), there were 30 students, and many of them dropped out of the course. In Ismail Yusuf College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, there are no placements. Internships are also not provided for students.
Infrastructure: In the biotechnology lab, most of the things are not there, like a PCR, spectrophotometer, etc. The microscope does not even work properly. There is no Wi-Fi to use. Classrooms are fine, and the canteen is too far from the department. I do not know about the hostel as I did not stay there. I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Except for some teachers who are there for our batch, like Sana mam, Yogesh sir, and Altaf sir are the best mentors and teachers. They all used to teach us and guide us properly. We used to follow the Mumbai University syllabus. Teaching quality is average. But the course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and everyone can ace them easily.
Other: I have a love and hate relationship with my college case. The system is based on that, and we have to gain favoritism status from a particular teacher to get a table over there. There are a lot of politics that I hate. I chose this course to get basic knowledge about science. I am very much interested in the project. I would love it if they brought basic things into the lab, which are essential for biotech students. It should also provide internships. Overall, I have an average experience and not that good or bad. It arranges only a farewell and a fresher's party in our department.

Genuine review of IY's teachers, architecture, and the B.Com course.
Placements: There are nearly 500 students in my course Top roles offered in my course are accountant, financial analyst, sales executive, marketing manager, tax consultant, etc. There are some top recruiting companies for my course like Qubithm Corporation LLP, Kilitch Drugs India, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It gives an old 90s vibe which is the best according to me. Our classrooms are clean. Recently the benches have been replaced. There is work going on in the college building. Around the college, there is very greenery which makes a good environment for better studies.
Faculty: Our teachers are very supportive and well-educated. Especially, Dr. Arvind Lohar sir helps students. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a great nature. Semesters are not very difficult if you have prepared for them. If you did not prepare also, exam are not that difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I want to start a business, so I found out that this course has a lot of knowledge which help me to start a business. The one thing I don't like is the low number of events. There is not even a fresher party till now.

From my point of view, there is no improvement.
In one year's college festival, it's palm festival.
