Review of faculty, placement, and college.
Placements: The college placement is good. Every year, the average placement increases. This year, Nestlé, Informatica, Zscaler, and Java came to campus. Our batch has 320 students, and all get placed through the college. Most of us get good packages, approximately 11 LPA and most of them are marketing students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good, with a big ground where we play cricket, volleyball, and other sports. Every day, PEP activities are also done on the ground premises. Our hostel has a canteen that provides very good food and also makes special food for special occasions. The college also provides medical facilities.
Faculty: Most students join the college because of the very experienced faculty. Faculty members are very good and supportive, and visiting faculty members also come to the college, which is very beneficial for students' final placements. In our college, there is a course called Research Incubation, which allows students to work on live projects.
Other: Our batch starts from August 2023 to April 2025. I am doing a PGDM in Marketing, and there are other options like Finance, HR, and Analytics. I think marketing students need to focus on practical or live projects. We celebrate every event in our college, like Holi, Diwali, Pongal, etc. Our college campus is very good, and is located near the Infosys campus is very good.

An honest student perspective.
Placements: Currently the placement is going on for our seniors and I have witnessed these companies so far:
1. Aditya Birla fashion
2. classic of legends
3. American Express
4. Informetric ratings
5. Oracle
These were the companies that have visited so far and placements are still going on.
Infrastructure: Hostel is compulsory so everyone has to live here.
Our college is around three to four kilometers away from our hostel so we need to leave 40-45 minutes early in order to reach on time.
Other than that, hostel food is good and the mess is being managed by Sodexo.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty, it was the primary reason for taking admission to this college and we can proudly say our faculty is top notch.
Most of them are very supportive and they will guide you. Other than that, I don't find anything to complain about as of now.

It is great institute and great experience.
Placements: The market is down; placement is not good this year. The placement figures shown in the brochure are not correct. They mention the average package is 13 LPA, but in reality, the average package is 6.5 to 7 LPA. After Term 5, students are eligible for internships with Oracle, HDFC, and AU Small Finance. After completing the internship, students are eligible for placement. Still, seniors' placements are ongoing. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the top company is Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is small. There are many events like Milan, ISDSI Global, etc. A high range of books and case studies is available. Case studies are from Harvard; IVEY is also available. We have e-classrooms with projectors and an audio system. The hostel is away from campus, and non-veg options are very limited; sometimes, the food is unacceptable. For the president's hostel rooms, they are perfect; they provide a B.Ed. cupboard and table; you just need to bring clothes. Sports are played very infrequently; the ground is empty most of the time.
Faculty: If your grades in a particular subject are low, disciplinary action is taken against you. Management is not good; some changes are made at the last minute, which really bothers us. The faculty is highly educated, with more than 10 years of teaching experience. The most important aspect is the practical approach; we have almost an equal amount of practical and theory work. Mid-term and end-term exams occur each quarter (term); exams are for 2–3 hours and the difficulty is not high.
Other: Why did I choose this course? I didn't have any pre-planning; my luck led me here, and I ended up doing this course. I would say the college management does not manage lectures and exams well.

Satisfied to be a Jagsomite.
Placements: In 2023, JAGSoM witnessed 100% placement with an average package of 13.3 Lacs. The highest package was of 43 Lacs. Many reputed companies conducted a placement drive and selected potential candidates from the pool of excellent students. JAGSoM also witnessed 100% internship for the batch of 2022-2024.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very decent. JAGSoM provides good Wi-Fi connectivity in college as well as the hostel, well-maintained classrooms with advanced facilities which enhance the learning experience. There are 2 libraries, one in the college (which is open till 8 PM), and the second one is in the hostel which is open for the whole day.
Faculty: One can find the best faculty in JAGSoM. The best part of JAGSoM is that they have hired the best faculty in India, and they also have tie-ups with international faculty members. The curriculum of the course is well-designed for new-age management jobs. JAGSoM has a T-shaped curriculum which makes the student a jack of all trades and a master of one.

JAGSoM is a place where students learn to improve and become better.
Placements: The average placement rate as of 2023 was 13.3 LPA, which is a decent return on investment from my perspective. As of 2023, 43 LPA was the highest domestic package. Our college is visited by several significant MNCs such as Oracle, Harman, KPMG, EY, and Capgemini. Every student receives internships, which are subsequently converted into PPOs. Our college has 17 committees, one of which focuses on placements. Role-defined career tracks are also provided by our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities, cleanliness, and surroundings meet the expected standards. The ground is spacious and equipped with a variety of outdoor sports gear such as football, volleyball, and cricket. The sports committee organizes monthly sports events for the recreation of students.
Faculty: Beyond everything else, a standard aspect of JAGSoM is its exceptional faculty members. We have highly skilled faculty from prestigious organizations like IITs, IIMs, and BITS, all of whom bring extensive industry expertise to their respective fields. Additionally, our visiting faculty comprises industry experts holding top positions in the corporate world. They are offering students insights into the latest trends and knowledge in the business sphere.
Other: The course I have selected is PGDM with marketing as my major, and I personally think there is no improvement needed in the course. Also, campus life is good, and monthly events are organized to lift the students’ mood and give them a break from busy college life. Additionally, both the college and hostel are fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity.

Jagdish Sheth School of Management Infrastructure
Jagdish Sheth School of Management is located in the heart of Electronics City Bangalore surrounded by the best IT/ITES/Biotechnology/Manufacturing companies. The Business School operates from a 110,000 sq ft facility equipped with state-of-the-art flexible and theatre-style classrooms, a finance lab for real-life trading on the markets, a computer lab having access to the best databases that one requires for learning, and also software tools to make data-driven decisions easy, a large cafeteria, auditorium, and library with rich knowledge resources. The residential campus of JAGSOM is spread over 2.2 acres with a built-up area of 100,000 sq ft. The residential campus is equipped with a very well-equipped gymnasium, a large dining area supported by a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a 1-acre open field for playing games and hosting functions.
JAGSOM is also in the process of building a new campus which will be ready for occupancy by 2026 and will probably be the best of its kind in the country and probably as good as any campus overseas.
How to reach JAGSoM?
If you come from Bangalore city centre then take the Hosur Road on National Highway 44 going to Electronic City and once you reach Electronic City Phase 1, go to the Infosys Gate #4 to reach the school. Several buses ply to Electronic City and you can take an auto-rickshaw or walk to reach Jagdish Sheth School of Management from the Electronic City bus stop.
R.V. Road station is the nearest metro station from JAGSoM and the nearest railway station is Bangalore City Junction (SBC) or Bangalore Cantt. Railway Station (BNC). You can book either a taxi or a bus to Electronic City from there.
If you come from out of town, Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is the nearest airport and you can hire a taxi or use other modes of transport to reach Jagdish Sheth School of Management in Electronic City.
