Review of Jai Shriram Engineering College.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed. The highest package is 10 Lacs per annum. The average is 3.4 Lacs per annum. The lowest is 1 Lacs per annum. Companies like TVS, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Service visit. Roles include web designer and junior software engineer. Almost everyone gets an internship.
Infrastructure: It has developing infrastructure. My department has about 2 labs for our course. Wi-Fi is available with permission from staff. Classrooms are moderate, and our library has about 2000 books. Friendly wardens and stalls are available for teaching. Food is moderate.
Faculty: Our curriculum is based on Anna University. Regular seminars are held, and our staff continue learning themselves. Because our department is newly introduced, exams are moderate. We only write about what we study and learn. We want to understand the concepts of the topics learned, and we refer to many relevant books for information.
Other: There are good placement opportunities, and developing infrastructure helps improve student discipline. Our hostel students are well-behaved.

Our college is a good college.
Placements: Around 4 students out of 5 are getting good placements with higher salary packages. CNC operators role was offered with high salary package. Placements require students to apply their learning from the course in the workplace and apply learning from the workplace.
Infrastructure: Campus has good structure but only small space. College infrastructure plays a vital role in the development of the college. It is important that the college has very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state of the art equipment, etc.
Faculty: The course curriculum help students to reach the level of formal education. It should form a learning environment that helps a student attain a desired outcome. Exams are good.
Other: Designing oriented placement is a period of work experience which is an integrated and assessed part of a students degree which is an extra-curricular.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.
