The course duration for this programme is two years, which is divided into four semesters. The institute offers six specialisations in the MMS course to students after qualifying for their two semesters. The names of the available specialisation are, Master of Human Resource Development (MHRD), MMS in Finacial Management, MMS in Marketing Management, MMS in Information Management, MMS in Human Resource Development Management and MMS.

Yes, you can apply online for admission at JBIMS Mumbai. The application process is conducted through the Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The application process for JBIMS Mumbai admission 2023 is as follows:

1. Apply for CAP: Candidates must first apply for CAP through the DTE website.
2. Pay the application fee: Once you have applied for CAP, you will need to pay the application fee of INR 1,000. The application fee can be paid online through the DTE website.
3. Fill the application form: Once you have paid the application fee, you can fill the application form online. The application form can be filled in Hindi or English.
4. Upload the required documents: Once you have filled the application form, you will need to upload the required documents. The required documents are as follows:
• Photo ID proof
• Educational qualification certificates
• Work experience certificates (if applicable)
• Two passport-sized photographs
5. Submit the application form: Once you have uploaded the required documents, you can submit the application form online.

Yes, JBIMS Mumbai offers good placements to its students. The highest and average package offered during MMS placements 2025 was 55.6 LPA and 26.48 LPA. For MSc Finance, highest and average salary recorded in 2025 was 28 LPA and 18.3 LPA.

The salary package offered during JBIMS placements for JBIMS MMS and MSc programs are presented below: 

Candidates willing to take admission to MMS course must appear for the entrance test conducted by DTE Maharashtra at the state level, i.e., MAH CET followed by CAP counselling. Candidates with a valid score in MAH-CET are eligible to apply. In addition to this, students must also have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate (at least 45 per cent in the case of reserved category candidates). Candidates who have appeared for CAT are considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates need to fill only the online application form for MAH CET counselling according to the schedule.

The admission dates for the 2026 batch are not released by the institute. Looking at last year's admission notice, it appears that process will close by March 2026.

The cutoff marks for JBIMS through CAT, CMAT, and CET for All India category students are exceptionally high. Cutoff for the CAT exam is generally around the 96th percentile for the All India quota. Similar to CAT, the JBIMS cutoff for CMAT is also very high for All India category students, typically around the 98th to 99th percentile.

MAH MBA CET is the entrance exam conducted by the state of Maharashtra for MBA admissions. While the overall JBIMS MMS cutoff might be slightly lower for MAH MBA CET compared to CAT/CMAT, it's still exceptionally high for All India quota students. Expect the cutoff to be around  99.88 percentile to 99.90 percentile.

JBIMS Mumbai has a huge campus with modern facilities. The college has a library with more than 1,00,000 books, journals, etc. It has computer labs with the latest software. The college also provides separate hostels for boys and girls. 

Candidates who are interested in applying for part-time MMS admission at JBIMS Mumbai need to pay INR 1,200 for the application process. Along with this, the MAH CET application fee must also be paid online during registration. Please note that payment through any other mode is not accepted. The application fees for unreserved categories including OMS and J&K Migrant fee amount is INR 1000 and for unreserved categories, the application fee is INR 800. 

Yes, JBIMS Mumbai offers MMS courses for full-time and part-time modes. The full-time MMS courses are available for a two-year duration, divided into four semesters. Further, part-time MMS courses are available in three years, divided into six semesters. The general eligibility criteria asked by the institute to get admission into this course is candidates must qualify for their Class 10 and 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate, and graduation with a minimum score of 50%. Additionally, the scores of MAH- MBA CET, MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or ATMA are considered for deciding the final seat allotment.

The average package recorded during JBIMS MMS placements 2025 was 26.48 LPA. For MSc Finance, the average salary recorded in 2025 was 18.3 LPA.

JBIMS offer entrance score based admissions. MAHCET, or CAT scores are accepted for selection. Those who qualify are invited to take a personal assessment exam, which assess their abilities. The admission process for JBIMS Mumbai is divided into two categories: MAH and All-India. Separate merit lists are prepared for each category, based on the candidates' performance in the qualifying exams and the personal assessment exam the admission is confirmed.
