Dentistry in Northeast Government College.
Placements: I got admitted to this college in the year 2023, and our batch was the 7th batch with a seat capacity of 50. After the 4-year degree course, we have to do a 1-year internship, as is common in other dental colleges. This internship currently offers us 15,000 rupees per month, but it can increase further. Rankers are recruited for further jobs and paid quite a good amount per month. Otherwise, being a doctor from here, you can open your own dental clinic.
Infrastructure: The college is neat and tidy, with wide, spacious classrooms and clean hospital premises. The campus contains a library, canteen, pharmacy, sports ground, auditorium, and hangout areas. Hostel rooms are wide and well-maintained. Trust me, government college hostels being so tidy is unbelievable, but it is in this college. Labs are well-maintained and have all the facilities required for the course practice.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and organize many events on social grounds as well as on students' interests. Events like blood donation camps and moral campaigns are frequently organized. For our students' enjoyment, we have many events like sports tournaments, foundation day, a farewell ceremony, a freshers' ceremony, etc.
Other: As people will know, for getting into a government degree course in Dentistry, we need to pass a national level examination called NEET, and after that, a counseling process goes on where MCC Portals allot us colleges according to merit. The BDS course is an alternative option to MBBS for a student, but it will also fetch you an identity as a doctor. The college is a little strict about attendance, which is a little frustrating for college students, but otherwise, other facilities are good. The dental hospital generally reports a lot of patients in the OPDs.

Overall, regarding the placement, infrastructure, food, and lodging, I would give five stars.
Placements: About 90% of students are placed. The highest was 7 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. The top recruiter is a reputed dental company. 90% of students got internships at many reputed hospitals. All dental-related issues are offered in the course. Many students got recruited even in the hospital itself and in many other top dental hospitals.
Infrastructure: Overall, it was all good. The food was good in both the canteen and mess. Free medical facilities with proper care are provided. Outdoor games are organized every week. With the proper maintenance of the hospital, it makes the outsider students more comfortable.
Faculty: Teachers are all well-qualified. It depends on the study, and overall, it was not very difficult as the teachers taught us well. The hospitality and the teaching experience of the teachers made us pass the course easier with not much hard effort.
Other: Since my childhood, I have taken dental health seriously, which made me straight up in this course. Overall, it was good, so nothing else. World Dental Day, Convention, and many scholarships were given.
