M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2025
5.0
It is one of the best college.
Placements: 75% of students were placed. The highest salary was Rs. 30,000, and the lowest was Rs. 15,000. Companies like Accenture, TCS, and other top companies in Chennai recruited students. 100% of students got internships. One student got an internship at IIT Pune. Some students worked as Pattern Analysts, teachers at various colleges, and others continued studying to improve their skills.
Infrastructure: Mobile phones were not allowed. Students mainly studied in the library, and some worked on projects. The labs were very good for practical work. There was one large outdoor and indoor auditorium, two small auditoriums, and a big conference hall. The library was very big. Students could study and refer to materials for their projects anytime. The canteen was clean. The food was healthy and good to eat. There was a big playground where students won medals, certificates, and Muthalamaichar trophies.
Faculty: Teachers were very good at teaching and developing students’ skills. They were kind. Some teachers made students feel very comfortable and supported. Industrial visits were also conducted; for example, we went to Kanyakumari for an industrial visit. There was no fear of exams because two internal exams were conducted before the semester exams. Most students scored good marks, and 98% of students did not have any arrears.
Other: I liked studying Chemistry, and I felt everything was good for me. There was nothing I wanted to change. The college organized many programs, and students participated in activities like singing, dancing, and mime. The campus was full of greenery. I really enjoyed studying there and miss my college. The college also provided scholarships for sports students.
