The college is satisfactory in terms of fees or value for money. The placement rate is average.
Placements: About 30% of students were placed in computer science. The highest package is 9.6 LPA, the lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and the average package is about 3 to 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, ICICI Prudential, and Akash Optical Fiber. About 35% to 40% of people get internships at IBM and Akash Optical. The top job roles offered in computers are system analyst, and web developer.
Infrastructure: There are two labs for computer science: one for web browsing and one for coding and programming. And Wi-Fi is available in both labs. The library is good enough but some books are not available or they are not the latest version. The hostel room is good but the food is of average quality and in the canteen, some items are not available as mentioned on the venue. The medical facilities are good. And the sports and games were arranged from time to time.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, they teach in the easiest way and their teaching quality is good enough. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready but you also have to make extra effort. The semester exams are difficult but not too much difficult and the pass percentage is about 80%.
Other: The reason I chose the course is because I want to be a web developer. The best thing about the course is that if you have an interest, you can learn it easily. I wish practical knowledge should be focused more than theoretical knowledge. Events happen from time to time and the campus crowd is average. And the scholarship is also available.

Absolutely dissatisfied from the college.
Placements: No placement cell in the college. 0% placements. College is having no tie ups with any company where any of the student can be placed. In short I would say "its better to close such a college that cant provide quality education and placements to students". .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is the best in nearby areas. And in its radius of 20kms there exists no such engineering college. But at present some part of the buildings are provided to PMKVY scheme and A school at lease. Because of which the regular engineering students feels uncomfortable.
Faculty: Faculty in CSE department of the college is the best faculty a student can get. Their is a focus on theoretical plus practical knowledge along with extra co-curricular activities. The teachers are quiet friendly with students so that they can provide their best and the interaction between the student and teachers is good.
Other: No fests are organised in the college on its own. Even when the students collectively tries to organise something the college administration don't provide permissions.

Four years at Jind institute of information technology.
Placements: I didn't get placed on the campus as MNCs not used to come there due to the reputation of the college. We tried for the off-campus placements and did get some jobs, but most of the mates were still unemployed even after one year of the college. Well, as per the university norms, there should be a placement cell in every college, and there was one in ours as well, but it was useless.
Infrastructure: I would say it has the best infrastructure in the entire Haryana as classes were spacious, seating was comfortable, and labs were really good. There were many gardens back then in college with lots of greenery, though parking space was quite less which used to cause chaos during parking.
Faculty: The knowledge of the lecturers was not up to the mark, though they know how to teach. Kurukshetra University designed the curriculum of the college, so what to say, it was okay. We went for only one industry visit in the total of four years, and that Is to Vita milk plant Karnal, I don't even understand the purpose of that visit till now, but enjoyed it anyhow.

Other: My college has a large building but not much educated staff to teach the students. No one knows about syllabus & no one knows about exam dates. No routine about external viva’s, no placement in the campus. The managing director are also not of technical stream.

Other: A reputed college with great placement assistance. Each and every staff member is dedicated towards there field work.
College has M.Tech and MBA programmes as well. Student who is willing to do higher studies can do from the same environment of cooperative and dedicated staff. Best college for further studies.

Other: I am from 2008-12 B.Tech computer science batch.
Here are the few points.
1. College infrastructure is very good. Campus is Lush green and beautiful.
2. Hostel facilities are also good with good quality of food in the hostel mess.
3. Few outdoor games (volleyball, Badminton) and few indoor games with a gym in the campus are available.
4. Now coming on to the technical education, I would rate 2/10.
5. Maximum lecturers are only B.tech qualified in almost all the departments.
6. Maximum lecturers are ex. Students of the same college.
7. Coming on to the campus placements, there is not even a single company visiting the college for campus placements during our time. Although they have put some data on the website which is totally fake.
8. Few days before they have sent the mail to us asking for the company name in which we are working so that they can put the data on their website. Although it is totally because of our own efforts.
In the end, I would not recommend this college to anyone as we need the technical education which is totally missing.
