Jindal School of Design and Architecture offers full-time BDes courses in 2 specialisations. Selection of the candidate for this course is done in three rounds:

• Fill out the application form along with a personal statement.
• Appear in Jindal Creative Aptitude Test or UCEED
• Appear for a personal interview along with a portfolio review

After successfully clearing all the rounds, candidates are allotted a provisional seat.

The tuition fee for Jindal School of Design and Architecture BDes course is INR 3 lakh per year (INR 12 lakh for total course duration). The primary eligibility requirement for admission to the BDes course at Jindal School of Design and Architecture is that candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in any of the following recognised design entrance examinations—Jindal Creative Aptitude Test or submission of NID/ UCEED score. Yes, students can get admission at Jindal School of Design and Architecture without NATA. JSDA accepts scores from other national-level exams like JEE Main-II, UCEED, JCAT (Jindal Creative Aptitude Test), etc. Aspiring candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course. 

Yes, Jindal School of Design and Architecture does have an entrance exam for the BA course. NATA/ UCEED are few of the national level exams accepted by the institute. Students should qualify any one of the entrance exam for BA admission. However, candidates without a valid score on these exams can take the entrance exams conducted by the OP Jindal Global University JCAT (Jindal Creative Aptitude Test). The school further shortlists candidates based on exam scores. Shortlisted candidates for the BA course have to then appear for the interview round. To get a call for an interview & portfolio, candidates must score 50% marks in JCAT Part A.

To get admission into the general BDes course and other offered specialisation available at the Jindal School of Design and Architecture, candidates are not required to appear and score in IELTS. However, for the five-year international design course, candidates must have secured an IELTS band of 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0.
