Jindal School of Art and Architecture BDes is a four-year undergraduate degree course, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. However, BDes in Interior Environment, Westminster Pathway at JSAA is offered for the duration of five years, divided into ten semesters. This is a unique five-year (3.5 + 1.5) international UG programme in Interior Design, offering students the option to specialise in Architecture and Environmental Design, Interior Architecture, Event Design and Management, or Interactive Media Practices at the graduate level at UoW.
Another eligibility requirement for this five-year international design course is that candidates must have secured an IELTS band of 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0.
The eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission into the BDes courses require candidates to complete Class 12 from a recognised board of education with a minimum aggregate of 50%. JSAA BDes admission is based on the relevant scores of JCAT/ UCEED/ NATA/ SAT/ ACT/ NID/ NIFT, followed by a portfolio review.

Once the seat allocation process for JSAA courses is done, students must pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission. Generally, students are required to pay the first instalment of the tuition fees. As per official sources, the total tuition fee to pursue the BDes course ranges from INR 12 lakh to INR 31.1 lakh. To get admission into the general BDes course and other offered specialisation available at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture, candidates are not required to appear and score in IELTS. The tuition fee for Jindal School of Art and Architecture BDes course is INR 3 lakh per year (INR 12 lakh for total course duration).
