Our college provides everything.

Placements: More than 65% students got placed from my course. Highest package offered was 20 LPA, lowest was 5 LPA and average was 10+ LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T and TATA. More than 34% students got internship in L&T and others small companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has good quality labs and high-speed Wi-Fi. Our classrooms are always clean. Our college has a big library to borrow books for free. Our college doesn't have a hostel but students can stay nearby mess and hostels. Our college canteen provides decent quality of food. Don't expect too much from the mess or the canteen. If any student is injured while working then our college provides first aid and in case of major injuries, our college authorities admit them to a nearby hospital. Our college also conducts annual sports.

Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality is very good. The college makes students industry ready. Our teachers teach us how to work in factories. Exams are neither very difficult nor easy. Passing percentage is 40%.

Placements: From the 6th semester, students become eligible for a campus placement drive. In our college, many reputed companies like Amazon, TCS, Infotech, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Flipkart visited last year. They give many jobs offers to eligible students. The highest salary package offered in my stream is around 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Around 80% of students got placements in our department last year. I plan to get a high profile company job and settled down. I am also thinking of higher studies like M.Tech. Now, time will say that.

Infrastructure: I love to playing with computers since my childhood days. The computer language attracts me a lot. There are many scopes for specialisation in this department. There are lots of job opportunities in this stream. You can go outside of India for a job. So, I had chosen this course. The student and faculty ratio is nearly 40:1 which is a big plus point. The teachers, mentors and faculty members are highly qualified with each member possessing a minimum M.Tech degree. Their teaching methods are excellent. They are very helpful and amicable. They are very punctual and made every doubt and confusion understandable and easy. They are very much friendly. They contact us through WhatsApp and call us. They also provide youtube lectures for our reference purpose. The term exams are held two times every third month. The exams are very much standard and harder than usual.

Faculty: The name of the annual fest is JISE TECHFEST in my college. The fest happens around February to march every year. Many students participate in various programmes. The college provides books for free from the central library. The central library has around 10000+ books in it. Free books are provided to every student every semester. Our classrooms are neat and clean with many indoor trees. There are ACs, fans, and lights. Classrooms are Flipped learning enabled. Every year a sports day has been organized in which many events like cricket, football, table tennis, jumps, musical chair, and running are organized in our big green playground. Besides theory classes, we have seminars, webinars, meetings, and yoga and meditation classes for extracurricular activities. Many social groups and clubs like environment clubs, short film clubs, coding clubs, NCC clubs, Science clubs, dance and music clubs etc. Are active in social media and college.

Other: The hostel is quite affordable. The hostel rooms are good with two students per room. In each room, there are two beds, two wardrobes, two tables and chairs. We have separate bathrooms and toilets. Besides this, the hostel has special laundry, dining room and common room. The meal in the hostel is delicious with five servings per day. On special occasions, our hostel caretaker arranges special food items like biriyani, pasta, momos etc. In morning tea and toasts, in tiffin time Kachori and Alur dom, in lunchtime rice, daal, veggies, eggs, fishes and chicken, in evening snacks, in night Rotis and Tarkas are provided to us. During admission, you have to apply for a hostel separately and should deposit 38000/- rupees for 6 monthly fees. The hotel is nearby the college. It is a one-minute walk from the college. This is a huge advantage.

It is a good college to take admission with good faculty members and placements.

Placements: There was 60 intake in the electrical department and luckily 60 out of 60 seats were filled. Many well-known companies come for campusing TCS, SKH, and many others. College also provides internships to those who are interested to do. Many projects are organised for developing the tech background of the students.

Infrastructure: JIS has a great infrastructure. It has a big playground, a big canteen, cafeteria, library, various labs (each for particular subs), gaming hub, Wi-Fi, etc. Overall the campus life is great. The food quality of the canteen is excellent. The girls and boys hostels are also near to the college for the ease of the students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, all recruited teachers are renowned ones with deep knowledge. They are very friendly with the students. They try their best to listen to the students and solve their problems. This course is very relevant. As this is a core sub-course students learn what they need to do in industries. The difficulty of the semester exams is average. If you work hard, you can achieve a good percentage.

Our college has a good infrastructure and process of learning.

Placements: Our previous batch gets placement in multi companies. The companies that are hiring from our college are TCS, Wipro, Khaitan, and Dhoot. About 80% of student get placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has a digital classroom, elevator, Wi-Fi, digital library and also you can buy food in the canteen at an affordable price. The hostel service is also very good, and the hostel is situated in a very hygienic area. Hostel safety is ensured with 24X7 CCTV cameras and security guards.

Faculty: Every course offered in our college makes students industry-ready because every student goes through the practical lab and theoretical class in a modern way of learning. The other advantages are our campus is ragging free and seniors are super helpful.

Other: In our college, there are many opportunities through curriculum activities like dance, theater, events, and NCC.

It is an average college, and I experienced fake campus placements.

Placements: Nearly 7% of the students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. I got selected through campus placements in a fake company, which was hired by this college, which means this college also hired fake companies.

Infrastructure: Labs are good, but there was a lack of lab materials. Wi-Fi is available, but it also has a limitation of 100 MB per student. Classrooms were in very good condition. We also face a lack of books in the library. The food in the canteen is very bad, but the medical facilities were good.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching style was also good and very helpful for us. This course curriculum was relevant and also helpful for every student. It makes students industry-ready, but we faced a lot of problems in practical classes as it lacks materials.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in learning about electricity. In the present time and also in future, electricity is very useful to us. Our college needs to provide a lot of practical classes to improve this course.

This college is the best for students to start their career.

Placements: Placements are quite good at JIS College of Engineering. They provide placements in good companies like Tata, Wipro, etc., which are really good to start a career in the engineering field. The salary package of around 1.3 LPA to 1.5 LPA is offered by the companies in the 3rd year diploma course. It's really a big deal.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are really very good at JISCE, and it offers two different hostels for boys and girls separately. The hostel authority works very actively, and they provide all necessities and food. The food served is quite good in quality. The maintenance is also very good.

Faculty: Faculty members of JIS College of Engineering are very good. Especially in the electrical department, faculty members are great, and they provide such a greater learning experience. The course curriculum is provided by the government, so there is no need to worry.
