Yes, JIS College of Engineering accepts Joint Entrance Examination for Bachelor of Technology admission. In addition to Joint Entrance Examination, students can also qualify for admission with a valid score in WB-JEE or CEE AMPAI exams. To be eligible for admission, students must secure 45 percent in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The merit list is prepared by MAKAUT for admission to the Bachelor of Technology program.

Admission to a majority of courses offered by JIS College of Engineering is entrance-based. Apart from JEE Main, GATE and MAT, candidates can also appear for WBJEE, JEMAT, WBUT PGET and CEE AMPAI for admission to UG and PG courses offered by JISCE.

Engineering Courses

Admission to postgraduate admission is done based on merit in GATE/ PGET/ AMPAI-W /WB-JE MAT. Postgraduate courses offered are M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. For MBA interested candidates must pass Graduation (In any stream) or equivalent examination from a recognised University/ Institute with a valid rank/ score of MAT (conducted by AIMA)/ WB-JE MAT (conducted by WBUT)/ AMPAI - WB.

The total intake of JIS College of Engineering for MBA is of 60 students. These seats are allocated to eligible applicants based on their performance in the accepted entrance exams, GD, PI, past academic record and work experience. Yes, B.Tech in Civil Engineering is offered at JIS College of Engineering. JISCE offers a four-year, full-time undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering programme that has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

JIS College of Engineering offers MBA admissions to eligible candidates with a valid score in one of the accepted entrance exams. These exams are MAT/JEMAT/AMPAI-WB. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/XAT can also apply. Hence, the first step in the admission procedure is to apply and appear for one of the accepted entrance exams.

Candidates with a valid exam score must visit the official MSRIT website to register their candidature. The college shortlists candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam as well as the Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the college.
