KJSIT - A decent college in Mumbai.

Placements: The students who are eligible are all mostly placed. The placement is about 60–80%. The highest package offered on-campus is 14–15 LPA by IDFC first. The average placement is about 4-6 LPA. The consistent hiring companies are IDFC, Seclore, Accenture, etc. Usually, internship opportunities are not available on-campus but interested parties can find off-campus opportunities. The roles offered are analyst, SDE, etc.

My honest review of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology

Placements: I am a partial COVID batch student. I joined the college in 2019 and graduated in 2023. I was unable to crack any job during college placement season. There were good companies like Jio, TCS, etc., who came. EXTC students had a tough time cracking jobs. The highest package offered to an EXTC student was 8 LPA. Overall, the highest package was 15 LPA to a Comps department student.

The campus life is good, and the atmosphere is competitive.

The top recruiters are Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, and many other top companies. Almost 75-80% of students are placed, and placements are better in this college. The training and placements officers are very helpful.

Your 84% in MHT CET indicates high chances of getting admission into the CSE branch at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. The college typically selects students getting over 80% in their exams, with the cutoff for the CSE branch at approximately 85-90%. Last year's cutoff for the CSE branch was 87.4
