B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2027

A balanced blend of academics, campus life, and growth opportunities.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in my college. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package offered is 12.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are ABB, Mahindra, Hyosung, and Infotech. Nearly all the students get internships. All the stuff they teach is very interesting and skillful for us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The classrooms are spacious, good, ventilated, and have a projector and Wi-Fi in every classroom. The hostels are adequately furnished with basic amenities such as clean rooms. 24/7 water supply and electricity backup.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, approachable, and supportive, always ready to guide students both academically and personally. They possess strong subject knowledge and often supplement classroom teaching with practical examples, case studies, and projects.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. A balanced mix of theory and practice, and inclusion of more industry relevant subjects. The campus hosts annual technical and cultural fest.

I'm satisfied with my college because it has good faculty, a good and big library, and more.
Placements: I don't know the exact percentage of students getting placed, but of 70 students, 40-55 students have been placed, and some have taken internships. The average package is 3 lakhs, and the highest is 18 lakhs, as far as I know. Companies like TCS, Winjit, Arees, etc., come to our campus. The roles offered include software engineer, software developer, data analyst, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but my friends say that the mess is okay compared to other messes. We have proper Wi-Fi with good range in college, and our labs are also good. There is free space for sitting, all PCs are in good condition, and in the classrooms, all fans and sitting benches are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide all the students through their queries and have proper knowledge of their relevant subjects. The exams are not very hard, as it is autonomous. The course curriculum is relevant from the 2nd year, as the main subjects come into play, like DSA and some languages.
Other: The ground of the college is so big for playing cricket and football.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2023

My honest review about my college.
Placements: Our college campus placements were not very good. The average package was 2 LPA offered by the company. In our college, required percentage of 60 was required that's why I am planning to get outside placement. This was overall good college. Approximately 70% of placements were placed every year. I am thinking of doing an MBA after UG.
Infrastructure: I did not opt for hostel. My friends were living in a rented room which was very good for us and my two friends were in a good location and behind a college, for managing time at all times. My room was very good for a small budget and the best place.
Faculty: College faculty members were very good and the best, every time I could not even had a problem under any such conditions. All teachers played very impressive role in every matter of studying and or such conditions. The course of all the subjects was very reliable. My teachers could be very good or best describe all the important thing about courses and preparation methods in details. Also, said learning experience to clear all the doubts. The exam structure is very much in two different types first as an internal and second as external examiner. Course curriculum was a bit outdated but professors brought lots of new topics for discussion pedagogy was also a bit outdated, considering the fact that lots of other MBA institutes had an innovative style of teaching. Some of the courses were offered on a specific campus.

Placement is good, but you have to bear with infrastructure and teachers. Crowd is not helpful.
Placements: Almost 90%-100% of students who apply for placements got placed by KKWIEER. The highest package for computer engineering is around 15 LPA, while the average package is 4 LPA. The top recruiters are all software companies from all over India. Internships are now compulsory in the 8th semester.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the campus, it is useful only for ERP tests. There are labs, most of which have old systems. Some labs have been renovated. The library occupies 3 floors and has a big collection of books. The classrooms have an ambiance that is not very fresh.
Faculty: Some faculty members teach very efficiently. Their knowledge is applicable at the industry level too. However, some faculty members do not teach properly. Their accent is not understandable, and some are monotonous. The semester exams are tough. The passing criteria for every subject is at least 24/60 marks in the end-semester exam. One should also pass the practical examination.
Other: The scholarship is a benefit of this college. Most people pay less than Rs. 20,000 yearly. The staff can be improved. Schedule should be less hectic, this allows a balance in student life.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Design - Batch of 2027

Good campus & placements, but facilities need improvement.
Placements: Around 75-80% of students from our batch were placed. The highest package is 10 LPA (offered by a product-based company like Amazon via off-campus/pooled drive), and the average package is 3.5–4 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA (mostly local service-based companies).
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-cleaned and equipped with Wi-Fi and a projector, but almost all of the clocks don’t work. In the labs, there are just not enough PCs. The canteen is far from the building and there is not enough place to sit. Overall, I would score three out of five.
Faculty: Teachers at K. Wagh College are helpful and well-qualified, with many having postgraduate or doctoral degrees. The teaching quality is decent, though mostly theory-oriented, with some faculty making efforts for practical learning. The curriculum is based on SPPU guidelines and is somewhat outdated but manageable, with extra workshops and projects helping bridge industry gaps. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mostly predictable if you attend classes and prepare well. The overall pass percentage is around 85–90%, so clearing exams isn't very tough with consistent study and internal marks support.

Balanced education with good facilities and active campus life at KK Wagh.
Placements: KK Wagh offers B.Tech in electrical engineering. Around 95% of students got placed with the highest, lowest, and average packages of Rs. 8.45 LPA, Rs. 3 LPA, and Rs. 4.45 LPA. Top recruiters include L&T, Mahindra, and ABB. Around 60% of students got internships. The key roles are GET, design engineer, and maintenance engineer. The college provides good theoretical and practical knowledge, but industry exposure can be improved.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every classroom and on each hostel floor. The department has well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms with modern teaching aids, and well stocked library with a wide range of reference books. Hostel facilities are comfortable with clean rooms and quality food served in the mess and canteen. Basic medical facilities are available on campus and also have large ground for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, providing a good mixture of theoretical and practical knowledge. Also, semester exams are moderately difficult. Exams focus on application questions more. To crack the exam is not difficult but basic concepts should be cleared.
Other: I chose electrical engineering for its vast career options and strong fundamentals. Campus life hosts events, fests, project competitions, etc.
