Good campus & placements, but facilities need improvement.

Placements: Around 75-80% of students from our batch were placed. The highest package is 10 LPA (offered by a product-based company like Amazon via off-campus/pooled drive), and the average package is 3.5–4 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA (mostly local service-based companies).

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-cleaned and equipped with Wi-Fi and a projector, but almost all of the clocks don’t work. In the labs, there are just not enough PCs. The canteen is far from the building and there is not enough place to sit. Overall, I would score three out of five.

Faculty: Teachers at K. Wagh College are helpful and well-qualified, with many having postgraduate or doctoral degrees. The teaching quality is decent, though mostly theory-oriented, with some faculty making efforts for practical learning. The curriculum is based on SPPU guidelines and is somewhat outdated but manageable, with extra workshops and projects helping bridge industry gaps. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mostly predictable if you attend classes and prepare well. The overall pass percentage is around 85–90%, so clearing exams isn't very tough with consistent study and internal marks support.

It is not just about education but also about memories and building personality.

Placements: From my class, around 80 students were placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, which was for about 3 students, and it was the first company to come on campus. The top recruiters are Finq, Tech Mahindra, and KPIT. The average package from college is 3 LPA, and the lowest is the same. Paid internships were low compared to placement opportunities. Software development roles were the most available.

Infrastructure: The college is lush green and big, with a sufficient playground. The infrastructure is good and has been renovated with new designs and patterns, making it comfortable. Wi-Fi is available in every classroom, and labs are well-equipped. The library is huge and includes magazines and newspapers. The hostel is good, and the mess is average to good. The canteen quality varies; the recent contractor hasn’t been as good as previous ones.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have great knowledge. They encourage everyone to take part in hackathons, competitions, and even publish papers in various domains. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully up to date with recent industrial standards. Semester examinations are not very difficult, thanks to the quality of teaching.

Other: The course is demanding, and I have a strong interest in it. I like to develop and think with computers, which have a real-life impact.

Placements are good for tech branches.

Placements: The placement system is good enough to give a placement at an average package of 5 LPA. If you are from tech branch then there are high chances of getting above 8lpa, and for non-tech branches, the placement is not as good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and it has a gymkhana. The campus area is good. Our college ground is very big and mess is okay, but our library is very big with almost 20-21 thousand books. the college campus has 1 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel.

Faculty: Our teaching staff is supportive. They give their 100 percent for solving our queries. Our teachers are very qualified. A semester contains 2 exams. 40% is the passing criteria.

Absolutely amazing campus, very good placements. Overall good exposure with plenty of facilities.

Placements: Placements offered by college are very good with an average package of around 5-6 Lacs. Many reputed companies come for recruitment of students for various branches and streams. Almost every students who applies for campus placements gets placed.

Infrastructure: Course is well designed, well structured and well taught by teachers at various teachers at various streams. Hostels are well-equipped with all facilities. Food served is also good with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Internet facility is also provided by the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty is brilliant with abundant knowledge of the specific subject. Teaching style differs from teacher to teacher but one thing is clear that if the students are willing to understand then their no queries are left unanswered. All teachers degree holders from well known institutes.

This is one of the best colleges among other tire-3 colleges.

Placements: The placements are average as it is a tier-3 college. Although from the year 2022-2023, the college is going to be autonomous, so there is a bright future for the next batches. On average, 50-60% of students got placed. There are many core companies and non-core companies. You can find all the information on the college's official website.

Infrastructure: The hostel and mess are really good (for both boys and girls). Besides all good things, there is one issue that the capacity of the hostel is very low. You need to check for admission as soon as possible. You can also find a room (PG) and private hostel outside the college quite easily.

Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are not that good. Sports are good here. The labs in our college are well maintained. Our college organizes inter-cultural fests, workshops, seminars, and dance competitions to help in narrowing the cultural and regional differences among the students. Sports tournaments like football, tennis, volleyball, chess, etc., are organised by our student council.

Other: This is a tire-3 college, so for good placements, you have to hustle hard. You can go for higher studies by giving exams like GATE.

Absolutely satisfied because of the good faculty and placement.

Placements: 95% students are placed last year, which was very good compared to the previous year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest package offered is 2 LPA, and the average package offered is 3 LPA. Top companies include Nvidia, Adani Electronics, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, HSBC, and JSW.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every classroom with high-speed internet. Hostel is good. Food quality in the canteen is average. An ambulance is always placed. Ground is available to play any sports. Available to participate in various tournaments. Library is very good for studies as the staff are very supportive. College has a personal gym for its students. The gym is very nice.

Faculty: In my experience so far, the teachers at our college are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees, and they have a good command of the subjects they teach. Whenever I had doubts, I found that the faculty is approachable and willing to guide us, even outside regular lecture hours. Some professors even use real-life examples, presentations, and practical demonstrations to help us understand the topics better, which really improves the learning experience. The teaching quality overall is good, but it also depends on how actively students participate. If you attend lectures regularly.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in game design. The best thing about my course is practical learning. The improvement, I think, should be nothing. Hackathons like events happen every year. Government scholarship is applicable.

Overall a good college with good crowd

Placements: About 90% of students were placed from compu branches and overall placement is 70-80%.The high package offered is 27 lpa. The avera package offered is 5 lpa. The top recruiters are capgemini, Infosys, mahindra, nvdia, bosch, etc. The internship is in the 3rd year of college.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms have wifi facility. The library has all types of books in various courses. I do live in hostel so I don't have much information about the facilities of hostel. Our college has a big playground and we have the facility of gym too. Students can play in tournaments.

Faculty: Our college is autonomous from the year 2022.The course curriculum is good overall. The staff is good and supportive. The exams are easy as everything coming in the question paper is already taught. More than 90% students pass in my class. Thus we don't need to worry too much about passing the exam.

It has good placements and infrastructure but poor faculty.

Placements: About 70% of students received placements from our college. The highest package was 15 LPA and the lowest was 5.5 LPA. The average package was around 7.7 LPA for our course. Most companies recruiting were from Pune, Maharashtra, and some from Nashik MIDC. Pune IT services, WhitZ IT services, and TechMahindra were some companies that offered top packages. Around 4% of students got an internship in Tech Mahindra. Many roles were offered to the students like sales head, general sales head, and marketing sub-TIO.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is massive and is spread around 50 acres. It has a playground with a cricket stadium for annual tournaments. It also has a football ground, a volleyball area, a swimming pool, and many indoor games. There is a library with 25000 books available to date and a computer lab with the strength of 300 students. The classroom is quite big with the strength of 150 students. There is a Wi-Fi facility available for hostel students only and we get 1 GB of free Wi-Fi per day. The hostel is good with 2 students in one room. Mess is below average and is not that well managed.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but don't teach well. You need to learn yourself from online sources or other materials. The teaching quality is below average. The classrooms have a tata class edge and are mostly used for showing PPTs. Just PPTs are scrolled and nothing is well explained. Anyways you can ask doubts of the teachers anytime during college hours in the library. The curriculum is like other colleges and makes the students' industry ready. Students are taught business tactics and how to present in the second year. The semester here is not so difficult and even an average student can pass the exam easily. Passing is not a big issue here. About 98% of students pass the exam.

Other: Our college is best for B.Tech in a computer science course, so I chose it. For the rest courses, you should think twice before enrolling.
