Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: The placement cell is in the college. Mass recruitment is normally held. A few big companies also come because of our strong alumni network. Companies approach the college through the work of our alumni, which is a plus point. However, core branches do not have many placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is old. Construction is going on, so it is not a major problem. Overall, the construction is good. The mess food is good, though not as good as home food every day. We also get special treats in the mess on some fixed days of the week.
Faculty: As the college is autonomous, exam papers are designed and evaluated by the college professors. The exam pattern is designed so that 14-mark questions are asked from each unit. Students can easily get passing marks. Professors' notes are enough to secure good marks in semester exams and class tests. Faculty members are available.
Other: Several fests are organized in our college. Recently, Effulgence was held. Many tech programs were organized along with DJ nights and party nights.

A very bad college situated in the jungle, and there's no facility, no infrastructure, and nothing.
Placements: Approximately 45% are placed. The highest is around 12 LPA this year, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is around 5 LPA. TCS, Ninja, Infosys, and Wipro are top recruiters., 20% of students got internships at Siemens. Mostly, these are non-teaching jobs, and some of them are very low-profile roles. Mostly, jobs offered are based on recommendations.
Infrastructure: The hostel is haunted, with broken doors in the bathroom and terrible Wi-Fi. The classrooms are not cleaned, not equipped with AC, and have a very small library. The hostel facilities are average, but the mess food is good. No canteen, no medical support, and very few sports facilities. The hostel has a water problem, and the mess needs AC. The hostel has water problem And mess needs AC.
Faculty: Teachers’ marks are dependent on your behavior, and they aren't very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is poor and not relevant according to 2026. They are using the 2010 curriculum right now. Moderate exams can be easily passed. The passing percentage is around 91%, and the exams are moderate; everyone can pass in 2 days of studying.
Other: I opted for this course because it has scope in the near future, the curriculum could be better. Everything is bad.

The college is awesome, but it can go better.
Placements: In our college, there are mainly off-campus placements. There are only a small number of students who get on-campus placements. Mainly, they prepare for the GATE exam. There are many companies like TCS and Wipro, but those companies only do mass recruitment at a package of 2 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good, but they are too costly for a student who comes from a middle-class background, as it is 50 thousand per annum for a 2-seater AC hostel. However, the facilities available, like Wi-Fi and drinking water, are good. The quality of food given here is also miserable.
Faculty: The teachers teaching here are knowledgeable as well as helpful. They prepare us for the outside world and how things run there. The semester exams are not too tough to pass, but maintaining a good CGPA will help us. The passing percentage is almost 90%.
Other: A fest, Effulgence, occurred here this month, and it was awesome.

Good and affordable under very low fees and good infrastructure.
Placements: I am doing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute Of Technology. It is a reputed college in U.P. that comes under A.K.T.U. The placement scenario of our college is average. About 60-70% of students got placed last year with an average package of 4 LPA, and the highest package was 15 LPA given by Glance. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Reliance, etc., in the electrical branch. Students got internships in NTPC and UPPCL, which are top government-related places.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not so modern, but it is considered moderate. The college has a library with Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are good for 80 students' strength, including labs. Sports facilities are also average. There are several councils related to sports that also take part in IIT sports fest. Hostel and mess facilities are really good, and the price is also worth it.
Faculty: Some teachers and professors are highly talented and educated. They have done their studies from IITs. The curriculum is totally based on the AKTU syllabus, and it is not proper, but partially related to students' futures. Semester exams are moderate. Since the college is autonomous, our professors make the paper, and it's totally based on the syllabus.
Other: Electrical engineering is really a high-scope subject or branch. I personally took this because I have a keen interest in the EE field, and I want to complete my higher studies in the electric vehicle domain. The course needs more modern and related advanced topics. Events are conducted on a regular basis, like Tvaran-sport fest, Effulgence-tech fest, and Anubhuti-cultural fest. Approximately all students can get scholarships easily.

A nice college in Uttar Pradesh.
Placements: About 80 percent of students are placed in this college. The highest placement package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average placement is 6 LPA. A top recruiting company is like TCS. Students hit internships also and hit good opportunities to get placement.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very decent and good. It has several hostels and classrooms that are fully furnished and well-equipped. There is a library in it. Sports facilities are also available. Every hostel has its own mess, and canteen food is also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are very highly motivated and educated. They helped in every field to gain knowledge. This course makes students intellectually and discipline. Semester exams are quite easy, about 40 percent is the pass criteria in this college to pass.
Other: I chose this because it has several future options. There is an Anubhuti, Tvaran, and effulgence fest in college.

Overall, budget-friendly. Placements are not good. It is good if you are preparing for GATE or ESE.
Placements: The percentage of placements in the core branch is not that much. Mainly, students prepare for the GATE and ESE examinations in electrical engineering. TCS is the major recruiter here. The average package you can expect here is 4 LPA. Tech skills are required for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good compared to other recommendations. This is in better condition than other government colleges in UP. But if you compare it with NITs and IITs, it's quite low. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. Classrooms are in good condition. Sports facilities are also okay. Mess and canteen condition is just okay level.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified under electrical engineering department. Teaching quality is also okay. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you study, you can pass easily. The passing percentage is also 90 percent in our department. The quality is also increasing year by year.
Other: The best thing about this course and college is that it is budget-friendly. Events also take place at college at respective time intervals. The campus is full of greenery. Scholarship facilities are also available. Connectivity to college is also good. Extracurricular is far better than those at other government colleges in UP.

Yes, you can pursue MCA at KNIT-Sultanpur with a B.Sc in Biology. KNIT's eligibility for MCA requires a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of fifty percent marks, and admission is based on your CUET PG scores.
