B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024

It’s decent but not preferable.
Placements: I was in batch 2020-24, till that time, placements weren't good. But now it's better as per juniors, and also I've followed up the liked in page of placement cell, so I know that. It's better to be safe, so focus on coding if you're interested or start preparing at the earliest.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, Wi-Fi was available. Clean drinking water was available most of the time. Mess was good. Although the food was average. The rooms were quite decent. In summers it's a bit of a problem for their students who lived on the floors above. The ground floor was fine. Not near the washrooms, though. Classrooms were good. Air-conditioned as well.
Faculty: Teachers were good enough to make sure you attended the classes and maintained a set criterion of 75% attendance. Other than that, course completion was the forte. Rigorous grilling over nothing was common. You're on your own for knowledge, or mostly YouTube.

My college placement section must be better.
Placements: As a student of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology. I like to share that my college is better than a private Institute. The percentage of students placed every year in my course department was very high compared to private colleges. The highest package is about 12 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The student of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology. I like to share that my college is better than a private Institute. The facilities and infrastructure available in my course department were like Wi-Fi. Classroom labs, ground, washrooms, etc. They are very good according to the feedback taken from students.
Faculty: As a student of Kamla Nehru Institute of technology. I like to share that my college is better than a private Institute. The teacher and faculty of the Mu course department were very cooperative towards their student. The semester examination is not that difficult for regular students of my college.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029

My college Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements in our institute are not very good, especially for core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. But you can expect about 2 to 8 LPA if you are in branches like IT or CSE. Recently, I have heard that some CSE branch students got 12 LPA. But it is a good option if you want to prepare for government jobs.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are limited. We have a small number of toilets and bathrooms, 4 bathrooms and 6 toilets on each floor, where about 80 students live. Some bathroom doors are broken, and we have geyser facilities in bathrooms. But the rooms are fine, good enough, and Wi-Fi facility is good in our hostel. Mess facility is also good. Labs are good, especially basic Electrical Engineering labs. We have 3 canteens, 1 ice-cream parlour, 2 cyber cafes, and 1 stationery shop within the campus.
Faculty: My first semester is not easy for me because they started our study session from 15 September and ended it by 18 December. I don’t know why they preponed our exam. The 1st semester is very tough with regular classes, assignments, and practical's. Mid-semester and end-semester exams are easy but get tough if we don’t study daily. They are compressing a 6-month semester into 3 months.
Other: I chose Electrical Engineering to prepare for government jobs like PSUs and research jobs. My college and branch are a good option for engineering as a backup career. I wish that maybe from next semester, our curriculum will be less congested. We have many fests and extracurricular activities like sports, dramatics, dancing, singing, and many more.

College life is fun. The college conducts fests on a regular basis.
Placements: Placements are decent. The highest package offered is 45 LPA (in 2023). The average package ranges from 4 to 8 LPA. Major recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. CSE and IT courses generally perform better in placements. The lowest package offered ranges from 3.5-6 LPA in core branches.
Infrastructure: The college offers separate facilities for both boys and girls with facilities like 24/7 power and water, decent Wi-Fi facilities, furnished rooms (beds, tables, chairs), security, and common halls. It also has a mess with average food, laundry, and medical support.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Many faculty members are PhD holders from prestigious institutions like NITs and IITs. Some professors are well-experienced in their respective fields. Teachers are helpful, supportive, approachable, and knowledgeable.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the tech field and want to excel in it. This college has a learning environment that provides opportunities for students to study and learn.

I am very happy to be here. The teachers are helpful and nice.
Placements: Placement in the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, is increasing year by year. In the electrical engineering batch, the average placement is about 6 to 7 LPA, which is good for the students. Last year, there were some students who got up to 15to 20 LPA packages on campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in KNIT, Sultanpur, is getting better year by year. College is full of plants and trees, which makes the college look more beautiful, and the playground is very large in this college. All sports are held here, badminton, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and many others. If you want, you can also join the club.
Faculty: Faculty in KNIT, Sultanpur, is nice and helpful to the students and good interaction between seniors also. You can ask anything you want to the teacher without any hesitation. If you have any problem or personal problem, you can share it with them, and they will give suggestions to you, which is very good.

Yes, you can pursue MCA at KNIT-Sultanpur with a B.Sc in Biology. KNIT's eligibility for MCA requires a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of fifty percent marks, and admission is based on your CUET PG scores.
