Placements: I got my teacher job by studying in Our college which is Karimganj College is very popular in our Barak Valley, because of its education quality and teaching experience. Though this politics in this college is very common but the faculty are very good. Science and Arts department are the best in our college, I'm an student of Economics Hons and the faculty are very good and friendly.
Infrastructure: Yes our college have all the needed course infrastructure. Arts, Science and commerce have their own blocks and separate department along with various lab and rooms. Some new course like BCA are also available in our college. In Science department all the course are available like Zoology geology which are very uncommon but our college have it. And left over Arts it's have all the subjects and talking about specially Political Science and Economics department are the best in Arts Department.
Faculty: Faculty are very good if you communicate with them. Some students just came and time pass in the college and later they blame faculty. But to be honest it's all fault of our new generation students who doesn't communicate well. Unit test in every 2 month and then Semister exam. The course are managed very well and timely also we can take extra class and guidance from the faculty but students don't use that opportunity.

Karimganj Polytechnic College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| After 10th Diploma | Candidates must have passed H.S.L.C./10th or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects (Without grace marks in Maths and Science and also have to pass indivisually in both Theory and Practical/ Internal assessment) with average 40% marks in Mathematics and Science for General/ OBC/ MOBC category (35% marks for SC and 33% marks for ST category) from a recognised board/institute. The maximum age limit is 20 years 6 months for UR/OBC/MOBC as on 31-12-2023 and for 23 years 6 months for SC/ST as on 31-12-2023. Candidates must be a Permanent resident of Assam. |
