What you need to know before joining KMIT.
Placements: The batch is 2027. Till now, 30 percent of students have been placed in my course. The highest package in 2026 is 26 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Zerocode, which visits four times per batch, and Value Momentum. About 30% of students have got internships so far from CSE in DBS, Zerocode, Value Momentum, Geonixa, Edwisely, RealPage, and AIRA. Top roles offered include Sales Intern, SDE Intern, QA Intern, Analytics Intern, and Software Developer.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels available in the college since the infrastructure is small. The infrastructure is very small considering the college is in the middle of the city. Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are really good. Canteen is big enough for 100 students. Sports are for students who compete in inter college competitions.
Faculty: The teaching quality depends on the sections. Higher sections get higher levels of guidance. The course curriculum is relevant for students and makes them industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult. Most questions are expected since the college provides better PDFs to learn from.
Other: Students getting into KMIT can enjoy campus life very well. There are many clubs and committees where students can freely explore their other talents. There are three big events conducted on the college premises every year.

Our college is a brand for placements with good faculty.
Placements: Placement opportunities are excellent in our college. The highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 9 LPA offered in our course. Top recruiting companies include Wipro, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Value Momentum. 95 percent of students got placements.
Infrastructure: Our college management provides good facilities like free Wi-Fi connectivity for labs and a well-structured library with a good number of books that are useful to us. They provide a campus hostel with good and healthy food items. We have sports fests once a year.
Faculty: Our faculty is excellent, with good knowledge and well-qualified PhD staff. They explain very clearly with PPTs, PDFs, and handwritten notes. Our college curriculum is updated yearly. The quality of teaching is excellent. The pass percentage is 90 percent in semesters.

Great for students who are highly interested in studies.
Placements: Almost 90% of students are placed. The highest package is 64 LPA in 2026, and the average package is 7 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon from tech and product, and Infosys, TCS, and Wipro from IT, come here. Software Developer, Full Stack Developer, and Quality Assurance Engineer are the roles offered by companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided across the campus, but the mode is intranet, which supports only the websites of KMIT. Labs are pretty good and clean. The college provides a library on campus, but it is small in size. They do not provide hostel facilities on campus. Sports and games can be played after class hours.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and explain the subjects well. Most teachers are friendly and clear students' doubts. The curriculum is relevant and covers important technical subjects. It gives a good foundation, but we should also learn extra skills to become industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty.

Good with the faculty and infrastructure but we need more events and fests every year.
Placements: I am a diploma student and I know some companies are coming to our college and taking tests, interviews, etc. I came to know that only a few drives for final year students and some are placed in the best companies. Before coming to the college I heard one student was placed at some company with 1.2 crore per annum package.
Infrastructure: I think we have the better infrastructure even if it's an old one but they renovated everytime and changed things and all. Coming to food we have the best canteen. I tried a few items and liked a lot and that's it with the food and infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. They conduct every test like unit tests, etc., very strictly like an UPSC exam with a lot of pressure and I don't like this one and I like their teaching which explains every point to the students.
Other: I chose this course because I have done the same course in Diploma and forget about events and fests they don't even care about those things and only two or three events every year.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placement of the college is very good. Many different companies used to come for placement, like Amazon, Climber, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Many companies come and provide a handsome package. About 80 percent of students are placed. The average package for the last batch was around 4 LPA and the highest was 20 LPA. Depending on the performance and qualifications, there are various types of rounds conducted for the placement. There is an internship which is to be done on the last good offering minimum 7.5 CGPA is necessary for sitting in placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good and available with separate as well as sharing rooms offered according to the budget. There is 24/7 water supply. The mess food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are assistant professors but they have a nice qualification. Faculty are well-trained and highly experienced. They will not hesitate to help you with any issues you may have in terms of the academy, as well as experience and behave very friendly to the students and others. The examination structure is good as there are 2 mid-semester and 1 final semester exams in every semester, as the semester system is followed with 20 marks internal, 70 marks external. There are marks on attendance, 75 percent of attendance is necessary to give the exam and marks are there as well. The course curriculum of the MBA programme is designed to give students an overview of the use of management in global scenarios and top industries. Everything is good in this course because they add a good syllabus but it also needs some improvement. They are doing what they used to do, adding a new course every year which is very helpful for the students for their future.

The people who want to learn something from the college, this college is the best.
Placements: 60 to 65 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 54 LPA, the minimum is 5 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Salesforce, Edwisely, Franklin Templeton, etc. 60 percent of students got internships. Roles offered are QA, training software, software developer, designing, etc.
Infrastructure: No lab issues in our college we have plenty of computers and labs, good classrooms, but we have Wi-Fi issues, and we have a library but not allowed during class hours. There is no hostel for this college you need to stay in private hostels, and there are plenty of hostels nearby with good mess and infrastructure. No sports and games are encouraged.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are good. They are qualified and knowledgeable with a 9/10 teaching quality. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready depending on whether students studied for a semester or not, not that difficult, 4/5 difficulty. Pass percentage is 82 percent.
Other: Since AI is evolving, learning an AIML course is the best option, and our college and faculty provide good quality information about course. There are fewer events in our college they don't encourage fests they focus more on hackathon and tech fest events rather than flashmobs, etc. There are clubs where they can showcase their talent. Scholarship is accepted in this college government provides a scholarship if we get a good rank in EAMCET or ECET.
