Strong placements, modern labs, and great exposure for IT students at KMIT.
Placements: Around 75-80 percent of students from the previous batch of our branch got placed. The highest package is 1.2 crores. The lowest package is around 8.5 LPA, and the average is hovering near 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and few product based companies like Baluelabs.
Infrastructure: IT department has well-equipped labs with high-speed internet, modern systems, and access to platforms like GitHub and AWS educated. Classrooms are clean, air-conditioned, and have smart boards. The library is spacious with a good collection of tech books and journals.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable, especially in core subjects like data structures, web development, and data base management systems. The curriculum is updated regularly and includes industry-relevant topics like AI, ML, and full-stack development.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in web development and UI/UX design.

Strong placements with scope for better infrastructure
Placements: The college offers many placements from 2024 to 2025. Approximately 500 out of 700 students are placed, and the placement rate is 72%. The highest package is 49LPA, and the companies offering are Amazon, Wipro, Google, Infosys, Microsoft, TCS, etc. Over 100 companies came to recruit.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is generally good near the metro station and campus, with LAN, Wi-Fi, and good libraries, one is digital and the other is a normal library. Labs are hygienic and have good systems, and they are working properly with minimal sports.
Faculty: Faculty is described as friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. The curriculum is said to be aligned with industry current trends, and semester exams are generally difficult because of the teaching they must be strict with the pass percentage, reported around 75 to 95%.
Other: Fests are fine, not much better because in this college, there are only 3 fests, but there are co circular activities and hackathons are allowed.

KMIT - A perfect blend of learning, opportunities, and campus life.
Placements: In our college, nearly 50 percent of the students are placed in companies. The highest package offered in our college is 1.2 crores, and the average package is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. Nearly 40 to 50 percent of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure and facilities that support both academic and co-curricular development. Library is well stocked with textbooks and reference materials which help the students in studying. The classrooms are equipped with projectors.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are qualified, experienced, and very supportive. Most of them have postgraduate or doctoral degrees from reputed universities. They are approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help the students both inside and outside the classroom.
Other: I am part of the Information Technology course at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology. I chose this course because of my interest in technology and problem-solving.

Best college for future engineers where skills are developed.
Placements: The highest package is 55 LPA. Average package is 11 LPA. Many students get placed, and many roles are offered by the faculty who encourage many students to get placed in IT, data analyst, and data model, and get the placements at the best companies. It is the best college. The students get placed at the high position with minimum package of 11 LPA, and the highest package is 1 crore.
Infrastructure: Our college has good atmospheric nature. Infrastructure is good.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good placements, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement opportunities are excellent, with almost all students and super seniors getting placed. The lowest package is around 7 LPA, and the highest package is around 70 LPA. The average package is also very impressive. Many reputed companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Google.
Infrastructure: The course provides very good infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi accessible across the campus. Labs are well-equipped, modern, and maintained in hygienic manner, which helps in practical learning. Classrooms are spacious with smart boards. Library has wide range of books.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, well-qualified, and always approachable for guidance. Their teaching style is very clear, practical, and helps in career building. The course curriculum is quite relevant and updated according to industry needs.

The college focuses on creativity, spirit, knowledge building, ethics, and performance in students.
Placements: Mostly, students who get placed from college have a 7.0 to 9.0 CGPA. The highest package is 40 LPA, and 4-5 LPA is the lowest package. Courses offered are CSE (AI), CSE, and IT. Mostly, the top top-most companies visit the campus. Most students get internships, but not because of the percentage, but because of the skills they learn. They offer mostly CSE-AI, CSE and IT. These 3 are only offered in which students gain skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Facilities are moderate. I would rate them as 7 out of 10. They provide everything, including college systems. There is no hostel for this college. But the food is of better quality. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5. Sports and games, they won't show much interest in that. But those who are interested can participate.
Faculty: To be frank, they won't teach everything. We need to prepare our own. They just give a hint on the topic. The course is relevant to our industry. Exams are not very difficult (35/100). Faculty helps in improving skills, programming knowledge, innovation, strong future, knowledge, leadership, ethics, educational and excellence. The college also builds moral values in students.
Other: Mostly, they focus on future-relevant courses, and they only focus on coding languages. Colleges have fewer than 3 courses, which verifies how they focus on the software side of enrollment.

Best college if you are looking for placements instead of enjoying and doing time pass.
Placements: Every year around 70% of students from our course get placed in top companies. The highest package offered has been an impressive which is 42 LPA, while the lowest package is 5.5 LPA. On average students will secure 6.5 LPA. Some top companies including Amazon, Wipro, Adobe, and Goldman Sachs will visit our campus for placements. 75% of students got internships in companies like Goldman Sachs, Wipro, and Adobe. The most common roles include Software engineer, Full Stack Developer, Software Associate Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall facilities and infrastructure were good for our IT department. Computer systems are provided in labs for doing programming tasks. There is a library with a wide variety of books and you can refer to it by registering your name. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is no hostel in the college and you need to stay in private hostels near the college. The facilities were good in the private hostel but you need to adjust in the matter of food. KMIT doesn't encourage sports well. You can play basketball and football but the ground is small.
Faculty: The faculty was good in our college. But they were helpful in the first year rather than in the second and third years. You need to self-learn more instead of depending on faculty. They are knowledgeable and almost all professors teach students. The course is relevant as per the industry standards. There are non-core subjects in the first year. In the second year and third years there and core subjects, you need to be focused on them more. The semester exams were easy because it is an autonomous college and the paper-checking process is lenient. The pass percentage is 80% in our college.
Other: I have selected the IT course because I got a 25000 rank in 2021 in EAMCET. The best thing about it course is we can move to any side of the tech industry and have equal chances as CSE students. The events and fests are not so good in our college because it is conducted only once. Only SC, ST, and OBC students get scholarships.

Placements: Enough placements are provided. This college is especially known for placements. A larger number of students are placed from this college, irrespective of their branch. The highest package is 54 LPA, the lowest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is between 7-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Micron, Realpage, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is sufficient for the students, with dedicated blocks. Many projects happen every semester. The college conducts the Smart India Hackathon and provides good prizes for the winners. There is no hostel facility inside the college, but we can stay at outside hostels.
