Review of Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology, Ludhiana.

Placements: The college didn't put any efforts to help the students interact with one another. Most of the students of our college are either not working at the moment or have gone abroad for further studies. The ones who got placed were offered the average salary packages between 2.5 or 3 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The campus is small with about 8-10 classrooms. There is a computer lab with Wi-Fi facility. A small library is available. There is a small canteen as well, but it is difficult to sit there most of the times because of the foul smell from the dump right outside it. The summer season in the college can be a bit of a problem as the ventilation system is not very good.

Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified and knowledgeable. They were always ready to help the students. The teaching methods were more traditional and focused on theoretical knowledge. Almost no practical exposure and minimal case studies are something the college can improve on. The industrial visit arranged by the college was not very useful as the students were just taken to the company (Trident, Ludhiana), given a lecture in a classroom and offered lunch only. Students didn't get exposure to the company's works.

Other: The faculty members of the college are good and the college infrastructure is nice. All members of the college organise different activities seminars which are helpful for the students. The fees structure is reasonable for this course. Because the faculty members are good advisors. The placement is not too good here. The infrastructure of the college is good and various extracurricular activities are involved which are organised by students. They go for industrial visits and students make projects on it. I gained various experiences in this campus during my post graduation. The salary structure is very good in it as well.

Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
BBA	Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board/ University/ Council. OR Candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal are also eligible.
BCA	Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board / University / Council. OR Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal are also eligible.
MCA	Candidates must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Candidates must have passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduated Level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University) Candidate must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
MBA/PGDM	Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three year duration in any disciplineand must have obtained above mentioned marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) from the University recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination.
