B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023
4.6
It is a good college and I loved it here.
Placements: Above 75% of students are getting placement jobs and the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Tech Mahindra, Google, etc. are the top recruiters. Students got top roles in the company like manager and technical officer and many of the students are doing internships in the company and giving their best .
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good, and faculty are friendly too. One bad thing is that there is no hostel for boys, but they can provide hostels for girls. They will conduct games at the end of every month, and they will conduct a motivation class as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are friendly as well. Faculty are helping with exams, and they will keep tests on topic. They are 6 semesters for LE students and 8 semesters for regular students. Maximum pass marks are 26 in semesters and 14 in internal exams. In college, there are good labs and the lab assistants teach and explain very well.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. In mechanical engineering, there are many benefits. I like mostly bikes and cars. Every month, the college will conduct an event like games or other events .

Students who don't want to pay high fees for management seats can join here.
Placements: Top companies that come to this college are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 8 LPA, and the average was 3.25 LPA. The percentage of students who got placements was 40%.
Infrastructure: This college has no hostel facilities. The infrastructure of this college is good and looks good. There is greenery, so the students can enjoy nature. The college has a Jionet Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are old.
Faculty: As this is a government college, the curriculum is as per JNTU. The curriculum is a little tough and does not meet market requirements. The semester exams are difficult. Exams are conducted at other colleges. The pass percentage is good. JNTU Hyderabad evaluates our papers.
Other: Events are conducted in March or April. The event "Ekatra" is conducted for two days. They conduct cultural programs on the first day and technical programs on the second. The campus is crowded during college hours. Scholarships are available to all students, with the exception of those from the general castes. Nobody is interested in joining this college because it is located in a rural area.

Teaching is not up to the mark.
Placements: Placements are fewer. About 20% of students get placed. Internships are not up to the mark because students get fewer internships in this college. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not very good. The college does not have a hostel facility. The classrooms are not digital or upgraded. The labs have a basic structure. Wi-Fi is provided on the campus. The college has a library, and all types of books related to the courses are available in the library. Every student has the access to take books in the library. In the library, not only books but all types of papers and magazines are available.
Faculty: Most faculty members are M.Tech holders. The teaching skills are not up to the mark. Some faculty members didn't even know how to share their knowledge with students. The college consists of a few doctorate holders. The curriculum has all kinds of interesting subjects. The exams were conducted strictly, and evaluations were done by the JNTUH Board.
Other: The college is not that crowded. Events and festivals are held infrequently. I chose this course due to my interest in the automobile field. Because it is located on a national highway, the college has good connectivity to the town or city, and transportation to the college is adequate.

Our college is good in management and teaching. But they should try to improve placements.
Placements: Currently, many students have joined our batch. Our college is rural-based but is having good staff and plenty of students. The placements provided are low from the past years. But the number is good from this year. The salary offered by a software-based company varies from Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 35,000 per month. Top recruiting company in our college is Amazon.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in our college. They are increasing the number of facilities provided to students. But there are no hostel facilities. Our college is good in academics and in maintenance as well as with sports and games. A canteen is available, but they are having low quality of food.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good. There are young and energetic faculty members who support well. But they are not skilful. They try their best for students, and are good at teaching and motivating. They should try to teach effectively because it is better to satisfy students.
Other: I opted for this course because it is one of my dreams to become an engineer. The best thing is we, engineers do any inventions. The only thing I wish would be improving is more practical teaching, than theoretical. Students are doing a technical course, but many students do not have good practical knowledge. All the events are well organised at our campus.

It is a bit of dissatisfaction on the eve of the fest in 2018.
Placements: About 30% of the students are placed till date. We got a salary of around Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month. The average salary offered is about Rs. 20,000 per month. Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra Pvt LTD are the top recruiters. Almost 70% of the students are involved in internship programs.
Infrastructure: We have very good infrastructure such as pleasant classrooms, and they are renovated for betterment purpose. We have the absolute beauty of labs. We don't have any hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Yet they stay nearby areas and hostels.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. They are really amazing at making such great gestures. The curriculum has to be changed for more results and more development of students. Even this curriculum is a better one, and we are asking for a much better one. This is really making us industry-ready.
Other: I like physics and in that mechanics is an absolute beauty to work. We have a fest named Ekatra.

I am satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: About 56 students from our course got placed. TThe highest salary offered was 1 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. L&T is the top recruiting company of our course. A top role offered in our course is machine designer. About 10% of the students form our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in the mechanical engineering department is Wi-Fi facility, labs, and peaceful library for students. The college does not provide hostel facility, so we are living outside in the private hostels.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and friendly for the students. They explain the subject doubts, and they are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready, but students have backlogs.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a very useful course. This course gives an opportunity in many types of jobs, and multiple jobs are required. I wish the college should improve students technical knowledge in our course. Fests and events organised by the college are amazing.

An average college in education.
Placements: 1. 80% of the student got placed. 2. 10,000-30,000 per month is the range of salary offered. 3. Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, TCL, are the top recruiters. 4. Technician and Engineer roles are offered. 5. The highest salary offered was 40,000+, lowest was 15,000 and average was 20,000 in my course. 6. Nearly 75% placements in L&T and TATA, Mahindra, and other companies, etc.
Infrastructure: There are two blocks, one is main block in which we have 3 floors. Principal room, chairman room and office room and also some mechanical and electrical related labs. The first floor has ECE and CSE labs and each floor has washroom facilities. The second floor has CSE and Mechanical Engineering departments and also have central library with 4000+ volumes. The third floor has ECE, EEE and MBA departments. There are computer labs, CAD labs, concrete technology labs and civil department. Every floor has Wi-Fi facility. For mechanical engineering, there are separate areas for hydraulic labs, machine tool lab, workshop, heat transfer lab, thermal engineering lab, etc. There is no hostel in the college. The college canteen has average food. This college has a cricket ground, volleyball ground, a basketball ground, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in my course but less knowledgeable and less qualified. The teaching quality is average. Some lecturers are good and have good knowledge and good teaching skills. Some have completed their M.Tech and some are PhDs too. The college follows a good curriculum.
Other: It's my passion, I like machines and their working mechanism. In my course, the best thing is the CNC machine working and CAD modeling. Technical knowledge is better than practical knowledge. Every year, a national level technical cultural fest is celebrated, i.e. EKATRA. Nearly 3-4k people come to college. It is affiliated with JNTUH. The college fees for B.Tech is 50k per year.

Friendly faclty in our college and good guidance about career to the students from faculty members.
Placements: In the last few years, there is no such number placement in the college, but this year the number of companies are coming to campus and offering reasonable packages also. In my way our college is the best in our surroundings, 64 percent of the students got selected in various companies. The lowest package is of 2.2 lacks per annum, and the highest package is 4.4 lacks per annum.
Infrastructure: We have a well-maintained infrastructure, clean campus, Wi-Fi available throughout the campus, superb labs, and good atmospheric classes. The digital library, medical facilities way we only have a small kit like first aid model, excellent sports ground and equipment is also available in the college.
Faculty: We have well-qualified faculty in our college, but recently some of them are transferred to other colleges. Some of them have excellent teaching skills, a lot of experience and student-friendly faculty also feel free to ask doubts about our careers. The faculty to students ratio is 1:20, I think.
Other: Our college celebrates national level technical and culture festival that's name is Ektra.
