My review of KIET as a first year.

Placements: So I will tell you the complete truth about it. The highest placement is 87 LPA, which is a huge number if you look at the college level, while the lowest is 3.6 LPA from Infosys. The average package is not clear, but around 5–6 LPA. Infosys and TCS internships are quite low. The developer is the highest role.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, this college is good, but the biggest con is that it has quite a small campus of 17 acres. However, the main buildings are well maintained. They provide all types of facilities, labs are well-equipped, Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole campus, and sports facilities are also there along with a gym and all.

Faculty: Mainly, teachers are from NIT and other government colleges. A few are very good in their field, while a few are just boring, which is the same in every college, I guess. The curriculum is great if we compare it to other AKTU colleges, as we are getting software like Fusion 360, learning web development, and all in the first year.

Other: Actually, I have always been fascinated towards technology and all, so that’s the most basic reason for choosing B.Tech.

Placement is average, but campus life is good.

Placements: Placement is not so good. Approximately 75 - 80% students get the job. The highest package is around 60 Lacs, and the lowest is 3.8 Lacs. Paid or unpaid, an internship is mandatory for everyone. Top Student get offer for SDE role from my college top company come for B.Tech students.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi and is green and clean. The hostel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Mess food is also good. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and every seat has 2 charging ports to charge a mobile laptop. We can say that the facilities are good.

Faculty: Knowledge of the faculty is good. Sem exams are not so difficult. You can pass the exam easily. There are 2 exams happening during the semester. One is mid-semester and the other is end-of-semester. In the classroom, faculty are supportive, but some are not. If you get 40% makes you pass the exam.

The college is what you make out of it for some, they really enjoy the college life.

Placements: The college placements are average or above average since there are not many companies that come to the Ghaziabad area, so considering that the opportunities are on point. Faculty provides enough opportunities to the students, but it is up to you if you want to get placed or not.

Infrastructure: Hostel is very strict with the timings, and the staff are really strict, so its a bit difficult to enjoy after classes. The rooms in hostels are not that big either, and also during rain, sometimes water comes into the hostels as well, so think accordingly for the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty depends, some faculty are really good and helpful, while some are not that great. It totally depends on your branch. The CSE branch has good faculty, along with it, but the CS branches faculty is really strict. They do not approve of medical, and overall, its not that great.

Overall, it is a good college for education.

Placements: Overall, placements are very good. Currently, around 90% of students in the CSE (AI) department are placed. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Microsoft, Razorpay, and TCS. The highest package is 60 LPA. The lowest is 1.2 LPA. The average is around 5 LPA. About 90% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are too good. All facilities, such as smart boards, full air conditioning, laptop charging ports, and a well-structured layout. The library is a bit small in size but very beautiful. The hostel is also good, with clean rooms and excellent mess facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very good on our campus who understand students well. They are highly educated, and their teaching quality is excellent. They focus on preparing us to be industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to moderate, and you need to score more than 30% to pass.

Other: Campus is too short and area is okay.

Good placements and supportive faculty with great facilities.

Placements: Placements in my college are quite good. Many top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and HCL visit every year. The average package is around 4 LPA–5 LPA, and the highest package goes above 10 LPA. Almost 70%–80% of students from my branch got placed. Internships are also provided by the college through industry tie-ups, which help students gain real experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained with smart boards and projectors. The library has many books, journals, and online resources. Labs are well-equipped with updated machines and software. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The hostel is neat, safe, and has good facilities like 24/7 electricity, clean mess food, sports grounds, and medical facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts clearly and are always ready to help students. The curriculum is updated as per industry requirements and includes practical knowledge. Exams are conducted fairly, and internal assessments help students prepare better. The passing percentage is also good, as teachers guide students well.

Other: My overall experience was good. The best part about my college was the supportive faculty, proper labs, and good placement opportunities. Hostel life was also safe and enjoyable.

Placements: In my course, around 70%–80% of students got placed, with both service-based and product-based companies participating in campus placements. Some of the top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and a few startups offering domain-specific roles. The highest package went up to around 10 LPA, the lowest is about 3.5 LPA, and the average hovered between 4.5 LPA and 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is fairly good. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, the computer labs have high-speed internet and updated systems, and the library has a good collection of academic as well as reference books. Wi-Fi facilities are available across the campus and in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive in both academics and projects. They guided us well during internships and placement preparation. The curriculum was updated and industry-oriented, including programming, project work, and electives aligned with new technologies, which helped in making students industry-ready.

Other: Considering the facilities, exposure, and placements, the course is worth the investment.
