Good faculty support, great department, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: In our senior batch, I think 75-80 percent of students are placed, which is considered a good placement record. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included TCS, Wipro, and some new startups. Approximately 60-65 percent of students are placed in IT sector services. The top roles offered are software engineer, business analyst, and software developer.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for the department, including well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, updated Wi-Fi, and a library where students can take books with their college ID card. Hostels are also good, with quality food, clean water, and well-maintained hygiene, which creates a good study environment.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful, and well-qualified. They have good knowledge of the course and sometimes provide career guidance on how to score well. They also share their past experiences to help students improve. Semester exams are moderate to difficult, and passing criteria depend on the subject credits.
Other: I want to build a good career in IT, which is why I am studying here. The best part about the course is that it is easy, and the subjects are only those helpful for placements, no useless subjects. I wish to see more guest lectures and motivational seminars. There are good events and fests, and the campus crowd is very active.

Satisfied with my college, but dissatisfied with the curriculum.
Placements: My branch is information technology. If I talk about my branch then the last batch of my department i.e., 2024 batch saw a placement percentage of about 70%. About 150 students got placed out of 210 students with an average package of about 5 LPA - 5.5 LPA which is quite decent for a tier 3 college. The current batch i.e., 2025 passout also has similar states. I don't have much knowledge about other branches, but I have heard that the placement of core CSE and CS branches is going better than my branch. That's all for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good at KIET as compared to other nearby colleges in Ghaziabad. All labs, classrooms and library and even the mess of hostels are fully equipped with ACs which offer a comfortable environment for studying. Labs and classrooms are made with proper charging points and all the relevant equipments related to the subject. Separate floors are provided for different departments in various blocks on the campus. I am residing in the hostel for two years so I can happily say that the hostel facility is pretty much satisfactory with all the facilities.
Faculty: Actually, my college is affiliated with AKTU University. So all the course curriculum is based on AKTU's syllabus. The quality of teachers is kind of mixed like every college. But most of them are helpful to the students, whether it comes to study material, internals, etc. When it comes to semester exams, they are entirely based on the previous year's question papers. However, sometimes there is an entirely different question paper in one or two subjects, which makes it hard for students to attempt all the questions. The pass percentage is average in AKTU.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to work in the tech sector after my graduation. As for improvement, I wish that the curriculum of my college would be based on current industry demands, not like the current 20 years old AKTU syllabus. But one important thing I want to add is that now KIET has become an autonomous institute from the 2024 batch (sad to be from the 2023 batch), so now they have designed the entire curriculum based on industry demands. The syllabus is totally focused on skill development from the first year itself.

The college has good infrastructure, the best placement, and a fest. So, you can join it.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students have been placed in my branch at the end of the 4th year, with a maximum package of 60 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the median is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, UKG, Cisco, Walmart, Tech Mahindra, and many more. About 30% to 40% of students got internships at the end of the 3rd year. The top roles offered in my course are system engineer, software developer, software tester, and programmer. Overall, placement is good in this college if you are a sincere student and have a decent CGPA of more than 7.
Infrastructure: A separate block (G block ) is given to the IT branch, where each year students have their separate computer labs, physics labs, and IoT lab. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college, and the Wi-Fi speed is good. Each student has been given a 100 GB per month limit on internet data. The classroom is fully air-conditioned, with a smart board and very good infrastructure. A central library is given where all the hostellers can access till 2 AM at night. The library is very good and fully air-conditioned, with high Wi-Fi speed. In the first year, boys are allotted to the CV Raman Hostel and girls are allotted to the Gargi Hostel. The mess food is decent.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable in the field of their subject. They are very supportive, except for some. Some teachers are also strict. Teaching quality is best. Now that the college has become autonomous, the subjects are updated according to the latest industry demand and placement. So, the course curriculum becomes relevant and makes students industry-ready. There are 5 exams in each semester: Pre-CT1, MSE 1, Pre-CT2, MSE 2, and End Semester Exam. The exams are moderate, and you can get a good CGPA if you study 3-4 days before the exam. The pass percentage is around 5 CGPA. Overall, the curriculum is good.
Other: IT is the best course, and also it is the oldest branch of this college. They have the best faculty members and facilities. Placements in this branch are the best. The subjects are industry-related in this branch. All is good in my branch, no improvements needed. The biggest fest, Epoque Prastuti, is held in my college, which is the biggest fest in Delhi NCR. A sports fest called Rann happens each year. The 18 acre campus has all facilities like a football ground, basketball ground, cricket ground, badminton court, table tennis, carrom board, and many more. The surroundings are the best, having greenery, trees, and plants everywhere. Scholarships are available for up to domicile students. The connectivity is good.

Teachers are good and supportive. The infrastructure is good.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed is around 91-94%. The highest package is 48.89 LPA, the average is 6.5–7 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA (which particularly depends on the branch). Top recruiters include Amazon, Adobe, and TCS. Around 50% of students get internships. Top roles include software developer, data analyst, product engineer, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is overall good. Cleanliness is above average everywhere. Hostel food is the worst, very bad, only good during the starting and last months. Classroom AC and lab AC are available. The canteen, sports, and games are all okay.
Faculty: Since the college became autonomous last year, KIET has followed a syllabus similar to that of IITs. Teachers are good, and semester exams are not so difficult to pass. If you study just 5-6 hours a day before the exam, you will get above 7 GPA for sure. The 9-5 lectures can make us bored. The minimum attendance criteria is 75%. 82% of hostel students are in their first year.
Other: The campus is small, only 18 acres. Education-wise, everything is good because of autonomy, but college life is not so good. Hostel life can be considered the best, but the crowd is too much.

It's worth it, as the rank you got in your JEE exam.
Placements: In the IT branch, around 75-80% of students get placed with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package is 48 LPA. Mostly, the companies are mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, etc., but there are also good companies that come to our college. You can also go for off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the department are very good, as we have Wi-Fi, labs, AC in classrooms, and a library as well. The quality of food in the hostel is good compared to other colleges. There are also many canteens present on the campus itself, and it is around 4.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and helpful. All of them are postgraduates, and the teaching quality is also good. Now, since KIET has become autonomous, the syllabus has changed, and it is very relevant. Since it became autonomous, the difficulty of the exams has reduced.

Good college with average placements, but the facilities provided by the college are very nice.
Placements: Placements are decent and improving. Recruitment companies are coming and giving offers. The highest placement offer for 2025 is around 60 LPA, which is nice. All the branches have pretty good placement records, except one or two, but you can definitely go for it.
Infrastructure: The facilities which are provided by the college are pretty good. The infrastructure, buildings, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are well-furnished and quite good. The hostel rooms are also pretty decent, and the food given by the hostel is also quite good.
Faculty: Definitely, the teachers in the college are really helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They have done their degrees from reputed universities and have good profiles. If you have any doubts, they are really willing to help you. The course curriculum is relevant to the current job market status, and the difficulty of the semester exams is 50 percent moderate, 30 percent easy and 20 percent hard.
Other: The extracurricular activities provided by the college are definitely worth participating in. It has almost all the sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and billiards. The campus also has a separate stadium for badminton. The cultural fest is organized every year in the month of March, which is definitely worth it.

Honest review of autonomous KIET.
Placements: The placement is average. In the IT branch for the 2025 batch, 71.09% of students are placed i.e., 150 out of 211 students. The highest package offered in this branch is 45.64 LPA. The average package is 5.70 LPA. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good. The whole block and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Library facility is good, and we have access to the library till 2:00 AM. Wi-Fi facility is good. There are multiple food options on the campus, with good taste and on budget. Sports facilities are decent though can be improved. Medical facilities are also decent.
Faculty: KIET has become autonomous in the last year. The curriculum has improved very much. They have integrated industry-relevant courses from the very beginning of 1st semester itself. Some teachers are good, but some just waste time. Teaching quality is average. Course curriculum is very good and relevant. Semester exams are okay. The checking is relatively easy, hence it is advantageous to students.
Other: Since the college has become autonomous, it has improved a lot. I will rate the college as 8/10. Though some areas where I believe some improvement is required in the management, sometimes the management is too bad and this should be improved. The sports items are not good. KIET should spend on buying new sports items and utilities. The inside of the campus is nice, but the area surrounding KIET is kind of rural.

It has decent placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed. The highest package was 60 LPA off-campus last year. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. The roles offered are data scientist, full-stack developer, frontend developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are decent but a bit old. Wi-Fi is available all over campus. There are many computer labs and one library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel and mess is acceptable. The food is hygienic, and however, facilities could improve. The college also provides many sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is according to AKTU but updated. Semester exams are moderate as everything comes from what is taught except for coding and data structure. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science. Several events and hackathons are organised by the college as Innotech, Endeavour, etc. One fest is organised called Epoque.

The cut-off for IT branch is around 30000(General) in the last rounds of counselling. It is possible that you may not get the KIET College considering your AF and BCAF rank you may get admission in KIET but it depends on the counselling.
